We got a pair of CGI Outdoor director chairs. Had them at least 15 years. Take them everywhere. Fold up nice but not the lightest chair, but super comfortable. Ours don’t have the side table. I hate the sling type chairs on my back, you feel like you are in a chair that the bottom broke out.

I have yet to sit in one that has the complete collapse construction (the fabric on sliding rings) that did not make me feel like it was trying to change my spine into a hunchback lol.

I'll take the hit of them only folding in half narrow-wise (director's chair style) for some comfort.

I do see a few notables like the plush papa-son style that I might have to give a try....

Too funny... I had this conservation this past weekend. My chairs suck. I have these on my wish list:

The rest of this place seems to be in a pissing contest over who can spend the most for a camping chair for their fat asses while denouncing those that spend money on a MegaRaptor for their small penises.

You can buy and replace an uncomfortable $30 chair every year, sure.

Or you can buy a comfortable Yeti. If it lasts only ten years (it'll last your lifetime), you'll pay the same $30/year.

Where's the compensation?

Everything Yeti makes you can find for 1/3 the cost or less and equal quality. There is no magic there, but to each his own.

I’ve got a couple $40 chairs and a couple $8 chairs.. they are both fine honestly. The $8 ones are 4 years old and I replaced a couple rivets that were getting worn.

I got these for $40 each about a year ago. They will last for a decade. Pretty comfortable. We use them
When we are BSing in the front yard.

I would like to try one of these. Possibly buy a couple and outfit them with Fox 2.0's, some Method Stickers, add a race radio, and a winch to drag the cooler over.

I'm about 3/4 Race serious here.

Walmart $12.99...to be honest they usually only break at the rivet holding the armrests, I just throw a small sheet metal screw in and its fixed..I usually replace them more often because they either got too close to the campfire, or I left them at someone elses camp....

At one point my wife had to have these chairs after sitting in someone else's.....we got them on the Camping World website....they were ok, but they are bulky and take up a lot of space, and being that I am typically the one loading and setting up....those got axed fairly quickly..

They make 2 of those.. A fold flat one, and one that folds into a bundle/cylinder. The pod version is more comfy in my opinion.
