We bought a new Rzr S.
The sales guy had a buyer lined up for our other Rzr and sold it for us at almost the same price we paid for it.

How should I payback the sales guy for selling my Rzr other than a big thank you?
He deserves something doesn't he?

%?
Flat rate ??
Any takes?

A note to the dealer stating how satisfied you are with the salesman would be nice along with some of the other suggestions. I'ts nice to hear you are happy about the transaction. :thumbsup

I would assume that this would be all part of the deal when you purchased the new Rzr at the same time.
When I sold my boat at the dealership the agreed to commission was 5% of the selling price.

A note to his boss goes a long way.. As well a gift cert to a decent steak house never sucks. ;)

Food will be remembered, money will not:champagne:

I would have to say that I recall almost everytime in my life when someone has given me a large cash tip.

Most notably was years ago when I was assembling engines for GT Performance as a sideline to my own unrelated business, and I missed going to my dad's birthday party to finish a race engine that needed to go on the dyno, and when the customer heard what I did he stuffed a couple of one hundred dollar bills in my hand.

Had he given you the keys to his place on the river for the weekend instead(or as well), what would you have remembered more?;) Or drug you out and let you run the race boat? Cash is good, no doubt, but something w/ a bit of emotion attached is always better. :hmm Maybe get him a hooker:D

If you sold your used RZR for close to what you had in it and he gave you the new RZR S model at MSRP, I would think a 5% finders fee would be appropriate. I would sure like to do a deal like that. :thumbsup

The note is a nice gesture but the certificate to a steak dinner is the winner. A nice bottle of wine would top it off if you don't send a note.:champagne:
