I made it home/ A big thanks to Shadow/Robinson Automotive

Some of you may have seen my thread from this past weekend " Help I'm stuck in Parker/Need a Transmission shop".

Shadow the owner of Robinson Automotive in Lake Havasu really went above and beyond the call of duty and I am truly grateful. My tranny blew on Sunday afternoon. I first spoke to Shadow (Darrell) on Monday morning. He made all the arrangements had my trucked towed to Havasu by 12noon Monday and literally had me back in my truck the next day by 1:00! He even picked me up in parker personally and drove me back to Havasu to pick up my truck!! A really awesome guy!!

So thanks Darrell for getting me and my family home safely and quicker then I imagined. Your a real stand up guy!!

I would encourage everyone to go to Robinson Automotive for anything you need in Parker/Havasu. You wont be disappointed!!

On a side note, turns out Shadow is good friends with a guy I have worked with for 11+years "Focker" here on RDP. The person who first told me about RDP. Small world.

A little story about the guys at Robinson's... I took my truck in last week to have a couple things checked out and ended up having them replace my throttle position sensor and water pump before I drove out to San Diego. The work was done right and on time for a fair price as usual. Well, the next day at the gas station I checked my oil and when I did I noticed that one of the bolts on my hood hinge had backed out. I ran over to Robinson's to see if they could help me out and not only did they stop what they were doing and helped get me back on the road, Darrell noticed my wipers were shot and threw a new pair on for me! When I asked him what I owed he said don't worry about it, have a great trip. Totally unexpected and once again service above and beyond. They will always have my business! Thanks again Darrell :thumbup:
