Another beautiful day and location! If your stuck in this hell hole come out, have a beverage, and watch @Boat 405 run one of the quickest jet boats in the country.

Why drive an hour and a half when you can deal with the homeless on every corner? Lol

I was in SoCal last weekend and the homeless encampment along the 10 through Banning Beaumont is f'n crazy. I hit traffic going down into Moreno Valley at 12pm Friday and it was a crawl all the way from there to Long Beach. I was losing it and couldn't imaging having to deal with that mess anymore. Been gone 16 years can't believe how bad it is now.

Since all the party poopers are on thin ice, time to keep the I ❤️ CA thread alive!

Saw this Sunday at the Glen Helen 6 hour. This guy gets an A for effort! 😂

Haha yeah, that is definitely some California behavior right there. But at least this is safer than trying to tow a bigger boat with a Tesla. You see that every once and in a while.

Do you think I can start a thread titled "I love places outside of Southern California" or will that be seen as a loophole that gets shut down real quick? 😂

I don’t think it would get nearly as much traction 😂

We spent the night at Morongo last night after the Aaron Lewis concert. I noticed that encampment today on the way home pretty crazy.

Reminds me the time I saw a guy headed to glamis Honda Civic toeing small flat bed just a bike on it and a couple storage containers and gas cans I was like that’s a budget way to go for sure.

I know one younger guy in college he had a Civic and a 2 ski trailer towed his 550s all over ca. He picked me up once to go to mission bay lil car did good took little fuel vs my trucks 3/4 tank.

I can't put to words how much fun I've had at Glen Helen over the years!

As I've said before, if you don't take advantage of all this state has to offer you may as well cut your financial losses and move. If you surf every day, love gettin your moto on or appreciate the worlds best Hot Rod car culture in the world this state might be for you (if you can afford it). And did I mention the weather is great, that is unless you live in Death Valley, Indio or Baker. Those places are more like Havasu, Phx or Vegas. lol :p

Good times at work then Skied Mammoth Mountain all week with the guys, I would've hit the beach today but I'm tired and sore. They sky is the limit here in the Golden State. No snivelers allowed.

What to do this weekend?

- Pomona hot rod car show
- Snowboarding
- Dirtbike riding
- Supercross
- King of the Hammers
- Golf
- Surf

All within 1.5 hours from each other.

I love it here! Y’all can keep moving out :)
Yeah, that's neat and all, and I realize that not everyone has the means to live here, but I live in Mesa, AZ, and I pretty much have my choice of malls to go to. I can go to the Superstition Springs Mall, Fiesta Mall, Chandler Fashion Center...it's limitless buffet of lifestyle and entertainment. Don't even get me started about our mini-malls, THEY'RE TO DIE FOR!

You don't have to go to CA for Drag Queens, they have Drag Queen shows at the London Bridge Resort in Havasu.

Okay, if we're going to take this I Love California thread and turn it into a malls of East Mesa thread...I'm in!

I used to live in Gilbert so of course the huge draw there is the San Tan mall, and that's where The Keg was for me, and we used to go to that mall a lot but I hated it because it was basically just a place to watch your wife buy purses and then go blow a bunch of money on steak. Like, maybe two toy stores total if you call Build a Bear a toy store, but I mean, Pfft, can you really call it a toy store when they only sell ONE TOY and they make you pay them to let you assemble it? I say no. The other toy store is a Disney Store so once again, are we really going to call it a toy store when they only sell Disney toys? In the words of our elder statesman and hero of the War For Justice For Ukraine would say...COME ON MAN! So I hated that mall but I loved The Keg. I always felt so upper crusty when I ate there, maybe because of all the attractive young staff members falling all over themselves to serve you, maybe it was the low lighting and the dark wood interior design features, I can't say for sure but I always felt a few inches taller when I came out of there and returned to my dirty Toyota Corolla with the broken windshield and my played out Buck Ofama bumper sticker. Then one day I took my bride and our progeny to The Keg to celebrate something (I forget what, maybe it was a birthday or something, I don't know) and all was well until the food arrived. I asked for it WELL DONE; Fucking BURN IT DOWN! but when I sliced into it IT was rubbery. That's cool, I'm not fussy, I'll eat it rare I guess, but then when I ate it it was REALLY REALLY rare. Like, I had to put down my fork and look at WebMD to see if I was already done for, but resource after resource told me that old saw about how the contamination on a steak is on the OUTSIDE of the steak and is pretty much never the culprit in food poisoning as long as it's been cooked at all. So I ate it, paid whatever many dollars it was for the meal, like over $120 for four people and then promptly started rapidly ejecting all that money we just spent from every orifice connected to my alimentary canal. I know what you're thinking, I psyched myself out and this was all psychosomatic, right? Well, maybe, but if it was all psychosomatic then it was the strongest psychosomatic episode ever because my beloved bride and our first born were ALSO doubled over in their respective pooping rooms doing the same thing I was. Uncanny, eh? So I don't go to The Keg anymore, and now that I live in Mesa instead of Gilbert I've adopted a more Mesan mindset, and that's revealed to me what a bunch of snobby, full of themselves jerks the Gilbertians are, with their ice skating rink, their Joe's Farm Grill and their fancy schmancy water tower that says 'GILBERT' on the side, so we don't go there too much anymore. We're more apt to visit the many Mid-Century and Mid-Century Revival retail locations, AKA "Strip Malls" that main street in Mesa has to offer along Main between Meridian and as far west as say Val Vista.

Are there any Organ Stop Pizza fans here? How about Buckhorn Baths?

Who knew other states didn't press charges against spray paint and put them behind bars?!?!?!

The weird part is we don't have any graffiti issues :p

Don’t worry… it’ll be locked up soon enough. When more and more people from CA keep moving out there and fucking it up for the locals that had it so good for so long. Have you been to Havasu lately? 😂

Looks like the Home Depot in Yorba Linda / Anaheim Hills. No cages there either.:p:cool:
Man I wish I would have grown up rich....lol

Could be worse we went to a Walmart in a not so good part of vegas on the way to the airport and everything in the medical isle was behind locked glass with 2 full time employees working the isle and they had hundreds of acrylic boxes with buzzers they would load advil ,etc...in.....bizarre :D

I think we are a solid 30 years out from full millennial socialism. The people here are too busy going to church and raising 10 kids to pay attention to whatb the rest of the world is doing...lol

In all fairness anyone your age should stay in CA. Great place to be 20-30 and single. CA is a horrible place to raise a family but a great place to smash trashy poon. This place would be terrible as a single person.

The mormons are our last hope, they are consistently pumping out kids that will end up with conservative views

My mom and brother moved to St. George 20 years ago. It's beautiful there. Sometimes I wonder how so many people can earn such a good living in such a small place.
