I'm not a red fan on trucks, just not me. If it were black, and running boards gone, I'd love it.

Might not be everyone's way to go, but it is refreshing to see a lowered full size truck. That was the norm back in the day. Now we all have to have 4WD for some reason, Im guilty of buying only 4WD trucks, I wish I had the balls to buy a new 2WD dually and bag it like we all had our duallys.

Bunch of negative Nellies in here.
I dig it
I’d do polished Centerlines before that program.

Just tired of all the Method or insert wheel maker here of black, bead lock simulated wheels.

Good for that guy for doin what he likes rather than what the peanut gallery likes.

Not a fan of that look on a F150, looks like vautozone cheap chrome and cheap poverty caps. That or any body style of F series trucks doesn't led it self to So Cal rodding themes in my opinion. I say that being a GM loyal but having F series work trucks for the last 5 years. They are OK, but I wouldn't buy one.

I like it as well. I like the wheels and stance.
My next steps would be to remove the steps and paint the mirrors and door handles red.

I have never understood the black wheels, black paint, black bumpers, black grill, black interior, blacked out windows, black.... SMH

Nobody enjoys red as much as I do, maybe except for Mr. Steele....but that F1fitty looks horrible. 👎

Black wheels are lame. Polished 17's for the win! 💪 At least RD got that part right on his Ferd.

Man you guys are hard on folks....holy cow.

The new body style of trucks hasn't grown on me yet, but I like the effort here.
I like steels, rings, and caps, and the stance. I think I would find a real top shop and do an old school black Tonneau cover, complete with the snaps.
If it has a V-8 it needs some sorta exhaust. I don't know what you do to make a V-6 sound good, but I would look into that if it is a eco-boost deal.
I like chrome. I am tired of the murdered out look.
This feller is doing it his way, and to hell with the rest. He isn't copying every belly-button truck you see all day every day. Kudos to him.
I think that is what hot rodding is supposed to be, or what it used to be anyway.

I agree with your statement about the new body styles. I think they work for big lifted trucks, but are usually too bulky looking for a lowered street truck. I’m a Chevy guy, but I do like this style Ford.

I was just sittin here thinkin;, we don't see them peoples you described in these parts too often.
I was pondering how it would look with a 3-4 inch chop. I know the tail lights are probably .gov reqired to be the size they are, but do they really hafta wrap 4 inches around the side of the bed? maybe some work there, and shave the door handles, and the emblems, and get some nice custom chrome side view mirrors for it. You know, the ones you can't see a dang thing outta when backing up, like yer boat, LOL.
Seriously, I think the black Tonneau cover would really be nice....

But again, it ain't mine, and kudos to whoever owns it for making it his truck, not a belly-button truck.

Yes. Black out the steelies. I have them red on my 40...but it is black.. they might look nice, and match the Tonneau.
I wonder if their are some caps out there that would fit these with the Ford script stamped in them.
That would be cool.
I wish I could photo chop a chop into the top...and take the portion of the tail light that wraps around and eliminate it. Maybe fit some late 70s Ford tailights into there...
I'd have to look some more, but maybe a roll pan and a blade style bumper...I don't like the enormous bumpers on any of the trucks built from about 2000 up. They don't work for me at all. They are just covers for the chunk of metal underneath.
I betcha bonesfab will have some input on this when he sees this thread.
Yep, could spend a fortune doing it my way...but it ain't mine.
I would love to do a street truck, but I need a newer gitaround, and it needs to be 4x4. another toy will have to wait. Finish the one I have...

So here is my 4th grade art version.

Real black Tonneau.
Cut the taillights down and put a patch in to fill the bedside with steel, so the taillight is actually on the back of the truck. maybe a red dot for sidelights to stay legalish.
I started messing with the bumper...I think this would work as well...blade..
I ain't even gonna try the chop.

I’d black wheels, lose rear bumper add a roll pan, leave cover red add SS stripe front to rear. And add a whipple so it’s a worthy
My buddy is transporting all these reds to Texas for a show this weekend for Los red toys, the SS is a pretty nice truck, and the srt

I just recently found out that at certain ford dealerships you can buy a standard cab f 150 sleeper that has a supercharged coyote motor swapped in with factory warranty.

You can buy one and have the dealership install the Roush kit and it will retain the factory warranty, it's like 720hp or something
