Well said RD.
I hope everyone reads the takes on Bobby as they are posted.

They're not just kind words spoken at a tragic time,, but true descriptions of the real bigger than life Bobby.

You'll be reading some fascinating experiences and impressions about a truly fascinating human.

Yes, he was that super person.

Bobby was the kind of person you should hope to have as a friend.

If you didn't have the chance to know him, you missed out. His close friends have a real reason to be feeling down.

Some things just don't make sense.

Never met the man (I don't think) but had read a few of his posts. Sounds like he "did it right" (life) and will be sorely missd and remembered well.

"Measure of a Man's Life"

Don’t look at the end of my life
And mourn for me...
Look at the whole of my life
And celebrate with me...
For I lived my life to its' fullest.

If you look back and remember my life,
Know I left few earthly possessions...
This was not my way.

…But if the whole of a man’s life
were measured not by dollars and cents,
but by laughter and joy...
both given and received.

If the whole of a man’s life were measured
by the abundance of memories..
good times spent with family and friends...

If the whole of a man’s life were measured..
by his love of God, pride in country,
respect for life and nature...

If the whole of a man’s life were measured
by these...

Then I was rich! Yes Lord, I was rich in deed.

-Jewel

Condolences to his loved ones and to all of you who enjoyed his friendship.

Rest in peace, Bobby.

We (Brian and I) have had the pleasure of a couple river trips and desert trips with Bobby. He was always smiling, a big ear to ear grin. One of those smiles you can't help but smile back at.

He brought one of those big inflatable tubes to gasoline alley. One of those deals that sits 6 or 8 people. He made sure everyone had a cold beer and a good time. That was a fun weekend.

One of the Ocotillo trips I best remember, is when he was riding around camp on the little 70 ATC. I remeber he tried to do a wheelie and fell off the back, but I do recall, he saved the beer.

What a great guy, genuine and happy. He will be missed.

Angie, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your incredible loss.

I only met and hung around Bobby a few times, but I do remember his smile. The guy just had one of those smiles. RIP and my thoughts are with the family. Celebrate the life, with fond memories our loved ones live on long after they have left this plane. Still a tough time. All of us reading this need to please remember to tell the ones we love how we feel. Tomorrow you never know...

you just cant describe such a wonderful kind person like bobby .... there really are not enough words to say what a great person and friend he was....

had camped out with him and sharred many beers with him.. always a great person to have around..

I am calling out the help from the people you know who you are... I/ we all did a tribute to Kenny ( trimm mann ) with a plaque and a light house dedicated to him with a piece of the london bridge... I think a small plaque , name tag in memory of our friend should be made to place along side of kenny's... it only seems fitting to always have something to remember our friend who always brought a smile to our faces ....

R.I.P..... bobaloo..

it was an extream pleasure knowing you ... you will be forever missed..

Count me in whatever it takes he loved Havasu and it's something that needs to be done. Kenny and Bobby were cut from the same cloth. Always willing to help now it's our turn to pay it back....

Lets make it happen this summer.....

No words can express the pain that we are all feeling. The last time I saw Bobby was in Moabi a few weeks ago....of course smiling ear to ear! He came over to say hi & gave me a big hug & kiss (beer in hand)! We loved him dearly & our thoughts and prayers are with Angie & everyone that is dealing with his tragedy. RIP Bobby! I hope you are at Peace sweetheart.;):cry:

Please count our family in for a contribution to another plaque. :thumbsup

You know we're in ......would it be possible to have another piece of the bridge put there with a plaque for him alongside Kenny's memorial rather than just a plaque on Kenny's?....you guys did such a great job with Kenny's...let me know what you need this time.

Terrible to hear this. I didn't know him at all. Just barely remember his avatar and some posts he did from time to time. Did Bobby make the RDP Rhino run to Swansea in March this year? I might have some photos of him if he did.
My condolences to the friends and family.

It has been said many times already but I see my opinion of Bobby was shared by so many. He was incredibly outgoing, just one of the guys that would do anything in his power to make sure everyone around him had a good time. Not just in party scenarios but in all aspects of life, he was a genuinely great guy. I had the pleasure of first meeting Bobby memorial 04 as part of the group at Dave's. That weekend remains on my highlight reel in large part due to his presence. It was always a treat to see him after that. It could have been 9-10 months since we'd last seen each other but at that moment it was like no time had passed at all.

Bobby will be missed. I'm not much of a religious believer but Angie will be in my prayers tonight, as she was last night. As for Bobby...he doesn't need them he'll be fine wherever he is.

Since I have been a member of these boards there have been a handful of members which I have yet to meet but just by reading their posts I knew they were special people and have looked forward to the day I would meet them and get to know them. Bobaloo was one of those people. I am very sad knowing I will never get the chance to spend time with an obviously great human being. To those who knew Bobby my condolences, you were lucky to have had such great person part of your lives:cry:

woody and I are once again calling on all our peeps .. we will be hopfuly meeting with the same people who helped us out with kenny's memorial..

when we bought the stone from the bridge from the city, it was indeed intended to have the names of future fallen friends of this wonderful boating brotherhood to be placed along side of kenny ( trimm mannn)..I was hoping to not have to do this for a very long time..

however the time has come to say so long to another truly great individual ... A true one of a kind... our beloved brother, friend.. husband...

unlike last time we will not have to spend soo much on getting the items and buying the rock or the light house at the entrance to the springs.. this time I/we would like to ask for your help to raise $ for a contribution to angie as well as the light house people who help to keep us safe on the waters at night on havasu...

its only fitting that we take care and remember our dear friend as we say soo long for now, and remember Bobby and the great times we all sharred with him.. And comfort Angie in this very sad time.. as he starts his new life..

Thank you Brian ( B&D ) for the help of getting a plaque to the machine shop.. as soon as we work out all the details we will let everyone know..

in the mean time some suggestions as to what it should say would be great..

as far as donations what ever would be more than generous...we will set up an account asap .....

again R.I.P. Bobby.... say hello to trimm mann for us all ...

Bobby where should we send the money? I know J-Rod is collecting for Angie over on PB so do we want two separate funds or????

I would call Kilrtoy or J-rod (Jarod) and talk with one of them.

As a suggestion there is a song by Carlos Santana - Europa or english "Earth's Cry, Heaven's Smile" very appropriate words for the smiling man

for some reason I cant get on PB... soo those that wish to donate fo angie should continue through J-rod.. soo that things dont get confused...

as far as the memorial get together for Bobby .. that can come to me... as soon as I get things in order ...

I will be talking with the folks who helped us out for kenny .. this weekend and will have some info on that asap..

I sure dont want this to conflict with any memorial service that the family has planned .... I would however love to attend his services to pay my respects not only to him but to angie and his family...
