Just got a phone call from my wildland crew on deployment in California. They are enroute from Lebec on their way to the 6 Rivers area near the Oregon border. they spent the night in Fresno along with a few other engines. this morning they found that their engine was broken into.............2 chainsaws, fire hose fittings, and a bunch of misc. gear. Anyone in central California or Sacramento area have any contacts with a Sthil dealer that might have MS391 saws in stock? or other Sthil saws about that size?

Have a really well established member on another forum that is a Stihl dealer somewhere in central cali. I PMed him for recommendations for sourcing replacements for your crew. Will PM you any info i receive back.

The crew is stopping in Redding and picking up 2 new saws this afternoon. IC should be able to restock the fittings taken. They will pick up a new ice chest somewhere along the way...............................damn I'm pissed
