We launched Wsuwrhr and his family on Carls Howard. He took some laps to make sure all was well. I snapped this picture as he was having a memorable moment with his family. God bless Carl Peterson and good job Brian.

Not to be cheesy but it is a really poetic shot.

Advantage1 said it best, it gave me chills.

Congrats to Brian and his family and Godspeed Carl. Very cool picture.

Thanks Hank, that is just amazing. Carl must definitely be in good with the big man and for sure had a hand in this getting pulled off. See you tomorrow Brian!

She does good. I'm happy with her. The kids are happy to be boating and they love captaining her. My wife loves it. She didn't want to drive but I made her and she liked it. She has been driving it around. Needs more prop and that always makes everyone happy.

That's awesome.

Of course it needs a different prop. It's only fitting. :D

It has a 12 1/4" 4 blade tournament ski boat prop on it with two inches of gap to the keel. I think we are doing a 3 blade 13 1/2 16 pitch badboy.

I modified this picture to give it a late afternoon look (with the giant duck behind the boat).

What size is the shaft and rotation.
I have a 13 12 LH. And a 12 15 LH. Both 1" and a couple more around the garage . You can try them if you want .

She has a 1-1/8 shaft and runs off the flywheel.

Other than the third gear.....what are the differences between a TH 400 and a glide?

I'd leave the velvet drive in it if it were me. Reverse works way better with it.

So glad you were able to make this weekend happen for the family Brian. That pic that HH started this thread on would make a wonderful portrait size poster for the wall in your home somewhere...it says so much...means so much...the kind of photograph that caused the "picture is worth a thousand words" analogy to be true.
