So my air compressor finally took a shit and died a couple weeks ago and I'm thinking, well shit, gonna be awhile before I get one of those again... So my wife comes to me the other day and says "Hunny, I'm going to need you to get another compressor, please go buy a new one" ......... I'm thinking, oh fuck, this is a test... what did I do? What do I do? What should I say? So I'm like, "nah it's ok... we can get by without one." She INSISTS! "No, you must go buy a new compressor because I need to be able to fill my bike tires, the bike trailer tires for the kids, the tires on my stroller, and the air pressure in our truck tires."

I about shit myself... So I'll be going to buy a new compressor this weekend! Who am I to argue with the woman!

Not to mention, she is "forcing" me to go to Havasu next weekend because we just got our boat serviced and she wants to go "run some gas through it" because "we didn't just get it serviced to have it sit there" ... Mind you she is 7 months pregnant too. :champagne:

Haha... it's not really that she rules the kingdom like that, I just pick and choose my battles... Trust me, I'm the one that makes the six figure salary and she is a stay at home mom. If I want to go buy a compressor, I could. Hell, I went and dropped 1k on a tig welder and she didn't so much as blink. I just figured we're having a baby in 2 months, no need to press the situation... But she insisted I get a new one... Just figured it was different than what a lot of men experience with their wives. But I do see your point.

I pretty much get what I want when I want... I wanted a new truck, she went and we bought a new Tundra. I wanted a boat, we picked out our LaveyCraft and bought it. I wanted a house, we bought a house. If I want something, I WILL get it. Period. She doesn't rule me like that. Sometimes I even make her buy them for me, even though it's my money. I told her for christmas I wanted a $500 R/C car and she got it. Maybe my original post came off wrong as I need permission, but that's not the case.

LOL... I would never show her River Daves Place! I actually do talk about it though sometimes to her. There is a wealth of knowledge on this site and sometimes I'll say "Well today I saw on River Daves Place X... Y... Z... and so I think we should A... B... C..."
