That #28 sled was fast all day. A marathon being in that cold all day, must have been brutal for the drivers. We had a blast nevertheless.

Looks like you guys are having too much fun. If you are ever looking for another snowmobile destination out west, check out Grand Lake, CO.

Old western town, several saloons and good restaurants and miles of groomed trails to which you can ride right out of town. Quality sleds to rent right at several hotels.

We’ve been up there many times.

I still wish I had my aunts place on the Michigamme River. Some day I’ll end up with a place out there again.

Too funny. MI native here, moved away years ago. Love coming back for all of the outdoor activities. Don’t worry too much about crowds showing up. It’s a bit too difficult for most to get here, especially the UP.

$150.00 per year. Only $12.99 if you want to watch race for the day. I knew better. Azz hats charged my card the $150.00. I canceled it after the race. I will see what the credit card says. They did do a good job on the coverage. If they charge the $150.00, I still won. Warm house, cheep booze and didn’t smell like race fuel at the end of the race. LOL

What part of the state is home?

Grew up and lived in the Northern Detroit suburbs. We had a Hondo flatty, MX bikes and snowmobiles friends and me used all over the local lakes and "Up North." Moved away a few years after graduating from college chasing the best job.

I am from southwest part of the state. Did the snowmobile, three wheelers, waterski, and "up north" days as well.

The PPV people finally answered their phone. Said they were sorry and would credit my card. I get a email offering to make me a deal for more coverage. Not a copy of any credit for charges. Yep, they suck. I called my credit card people to cancel payment. I knew there would be trouble when they had no phone number posted on their web page. I found it with google. Not worried about the $150.00, but now they have ticked me off with their sleezey way of doing business.

Local teacher does live streaming for school sports. Great for the older folks that can’t get to the games. It is also nice in the fall to set on the boat and watch the game on the boat watching the sunset. He is the one that did the first two years of Boyne Thunder’s video. Local is nice. The PPV people did a nice job. Just blown away with the way they do business.
