If I take the boat home then i would do it. I don’t need the boat home cause that will start other drama.Take it apart and do it, we all know you're capable
Thats funny! I've pulled stuff off the boat and taken it home. Get parts, fix it at home then put it back on the next trip. Steering cylinders for exampleIf I take the boat home then i would do it. I don’t need the boat home cause that will start other drama.
Just trying to get it handled Labor Day week. Saw it leaking yesterday .Thats funny! I've pulled stuff off the boat and taken it home. Get parts, fix it at home then put it back on the next trip. Steering cylinders for example
Imco? If so contact Imco Nevada you can ship it and lines (if you need them) and they can rebuild and make you new lines and ship it back to you pretty quick.Need to get my trim tabs ram rebuilt. Any recommendations? View attachment 1419090
Eddie Marine MIGHT have the parts needed to rebuild the ram. They are close enough you could pick the parts up on the way out. Ask them what else you would need and you should be good.Boat is in Parker and wont be seeing it Labor day week. Why I asked if theres an hydraulic shop out there. I'll call eddie marine but probably end up with the wrong part.

Slight derail here, which way is the correct way? Roundish edge out or sharp edge out?Make sure that whichever shop you use puts the snap ring back in correctly and not backwards. Otherwise, you run the risk of blowing out the billet groove in the ram and needing to replace the entire assembly. If this happens, the project will likely snowball because the new rams have a different end cap design and also a different mount for the trim indicator cables. A shop I used to use messed this up on both rams when they rebuilt them. Both rams failed with around 20 hours of time after the rebuilds.
ive done that too, and then forget the damn part at home thatrs why i dont pull my batteries and take them home to charge any more.my dumbass got to buy 4 batteries one summer before i figured out better to just leave themThats funny! I am not an expert on this and I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction. I don't recall which way they were done on my rams, but I will say that several people looked at it and told me that they were installed incorrectly (either backwards, wrong snap rings used, not seated in the groove 100%, etc) which lead to unrepairable damage to both trim rams.Slight derail here, which way is the correct way? Oh no! Yeah that's definitely a considerationive done that too, and then forget the damn part at home thatrs why i dont pull my batteries and take them home to charge any more.my dumbass got to buy 4 batteries one summer before i figured out better to just leave them
