Nice to see the continuing success of DCB, growing steady from humble beginnings, down by the river. Impressive.

Read the article, sounds like a great hire.
That said, also reads new majority owner of DCB is trying to increase production (not sure that is a good thing).
DCB has always been known as quality over quantity. Changing that could have impacts down the road.

I hope they remain boutique and don’t become MTI.

They have made a giant investment and have new ownership. Of course they need to expand the business to bring ROI. That was most if not the entire reason they relocated.

Seems like they are in very good hands, and the people running the business seem to be smarter and more successful than most if not all of us here.

Tony always says they make 18 boats a year. Even if they double it they would only build 36 boats a year.

I think they want to get into the CC market and my guess is that will take a lot more resources than current production models.

Curious how many boats do other MFG's (Eliminator, Nordic, Howard, etc) produce each year?

Dear lord

Even if they were targeting a 20% increase, you’re talking 4ish units. With the efficiencies of the new facility, tremendous new talent, and retention of very talented previous employees and the desire to bring new models to the table, this doesn’t even bring up a conversation of “this could be bad”…….

I’m not a DCB nut swinger, but I’m excited to see what the next 36 months brings from this team.

Any company will experience growing pains. But with Tony and Jeff I don’t think the quality control will go down at all. If something isn’t right you kick it back and have it fixed until the new employee finally gets it.

Great hire. DCB is really doing a great job getting all Their ducks in a row to expand and grow and focus on the future. If you sit stagnant, you die. Self reflection, meeting market demands and trends and positive growth are the keys to a successful business. They’re doing it right.

As RD said they’ve got a true tunnel 42 on its way, they’ve been going after a few people that have definitely been around the business for years, they also now have @Teague_JR parking out front every day and now Johnny they’re making moves and i don’t see the negative that was spoken of up above.

Congratulations @HydroSkreamin . Just curious. Is a DCB gonna be parked next to Stress Eliminator? 😁
Maaaaaaybe??😁

How about we get the M42R into production and then see what we can do with a bottom redesign on the 28 and set it up with a single 500R?😉 I’ll take one in B5 blue please!

I’d like to thank all of you for the overwhelmingly positive response. To say that I’m proud to be part of this team is an understatement. I’ve been friends with these guys for over a decade, having been engineering support to all sorts of Mercury Racing products over the years.

We get along great and we get each other. There’s going to be some cool stuff going for sure…

Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to meeting you.

We’re looking to be somewhere between Happy Valley and Cave Creek, but focusing on Glendale and Peoria.

Once we’re settled in I’ll look you and @Bowtiepower00 up
