I bought one with a brand new motor also, and it still cost me 15k in Bullshit to make it right

. Just know that you will have to go thru everything with a fine tooth comb, because it looks like the boat was stored outside and seller is listing RV and other things also, so may be distress sale.

Distress sales are nice, you can often pick things up cheap enough to flip them for a profit. I've heard these are particularly easy to flip.

I remember talking to that guy when the engine blew and he had some of the parts for sale. He had me call Teague to get the information on the parts. I can't remember if he ended up using the parts and just rebuilding or if he sold them. Cool HTM for sure...

Edit: i think the old engine was a 555 or 565.

Yes original engine was a 565,I spoke to Teague complete new build on engine and outdrive , he gave me all the invoices/receipts.

I guess the question is what else needs TLC, and if this custom motor is good or a paperweight in a few more hours.. I'd do full inspection and oil analysis etc.

Interior is fine just a good cleaning minor stuff, just was thinking of updating over winter.
