1987 Howard T- Deck 5/8 Runner Bottom

1987 TR2 Howard T Deck 5/8th runner bottom, medium weight (not super light). It is about a 6000lb hull that can be set up for capsule and alcohol motor!!!!!!!
This is a pro built boat, over $62,000 in receipts.
938HP 498 BBC all Dart components, 1050 dominators 14-1 compression, lemons headers, nothing but the extreme best went into the boat.
All billet, all new air shift 10 degree Casale with lightened 18's, lenco driveline
11 runs on the boat and runs mid 8's @114-117 mph and dialed in for the 9.0 class before fresh motor. Yes Motor is FRESH! HAs about 30 minutes run time to fine tune it. Motor done by ADS in Chandler AZ.
Boat is a museum piece, its that perfect, paint was over $10,000 if you have been to the races you know the boat "hot sauce".
Comes on a new 2010 custom trailer.
I also have a new matching seat if you want to take someone out or river race the boat.
Motor has over $32k in it alone! This is one of the 14 Gene Mc Kee rigged Howards

Yes. When I was at Firebird last weekend I was told by Bobby Hewit who supposedly did the bottom and told me it was a TR2 bottom.

A few weeks ago? I bought it about 3 months ago and just had the hurt motor freshened up that came with it. We waited a month just for JE to custom make the pistons. We were going to run at Firebird but my partner is moving to the midwest and as some of you may know my new partner and I are awaiting are new CHeyenne's so......................this one must go.

I may be a junior member as far as posts go but I assure you I am no junior when it comes to this hobby. Nowhere in the original add does it say it had a broke motor..Its your boat now whether or not you can drive it doesn't matter much. you price it how you want just seems high to most of the real world.. As far as the motor being hurt, welcome to the world of race boats, get used to it. The boat is worth whatever someone will pay,and how bad they want it. As far as you calling me a rookie, there you go again talking about stuff you have no clue about,just like you do with v-drives. I saw you bought that other Howard from Parker,or your dad did,without even seeing it and gave him more than he was asking. Pretty rough huh? 20 year old paint and the stripes are about 3" off center on the bow. Lotsa one off stuff that needs finishing and then theres the trailer, nuff said. You are also trying to sell the Hondo that you say is so special ,there was only 2 built. Ever wonder why they only built 2? Ever wonder why you havent been able to get rid of it? But I'm the rookie? Hondo is sold. Other Howard, paid more than he was asking?:rotflmao: And the new Howard I never once complained about the bad motor. Nope had it fixed immediately and put me out of our budget to run it. So as far as running the new one, I WISH! LIke I said we bought it to run it and found out the motor was hurt so by not running it saved me a lot more money. NOW it has a fresh motor and my partner ( JASON OZGA ) not my Dad would prefer to keep it FRESH so the new owner can do whatever he wants with it. I would love to light her up but its just not going to happen. Take it eazy and hope to buy you a beer sometime. Sorry I got defensive but hey I shouldnt be yelled at for having fun and buying boats until I find what I want. I am having one built that should make me happy but we will see.arty2:

Thats a nice Howard! It came from up here in Northern Cal. John Rossie paint! I owned a sister boat to it which I sold to Barry Black. On of the best flats I ever owned. How much for it less motor?
