Howard 288 Delivery

Another new Howard 288 delivered today to Maxed Out Marine headed for its new home on the Parker strip. This one is powered with the Teague 1050 and is the first of 3 currently being built by Howard with this power plant. Number 2 is almost finished and will go Florida upon completion. Number 3, (an SDS open bow) just came out of the mold yesterday and we will post pictures next week.

This is also the first Howard to be fitted with the Sea Deck flooring installed by Blue Seas in San Diego (Mission Bay). The owner of the Florida boat was so impressed by the Sea Deck that he too is installing it.

My guess with a light load it goes 109. Depending on prop (high speed or general use) and weather conditions. Looks like it has a scx drive?

There's a guy with a 42' Fountain on Parker.. LOL 28 Deck's are fine, and honestly with the wake board boats out there sized just right if not maybe even a little on the small side now.. The water down there can get big!

I put it on the swim platform of our last boat and loved it. When the time comes it will be going into the Formula.

the white/black/red 288 from the end of last year was in the $230k ballpark. with a 600 and all the options. $265k wouldn't surprise me

Curious about the windshield on this boat. Sort of looks like it was originally designed without the windshield and then a wrap around was added.

I love the boat so don't take this the wrong way, I would have paid to have it capped. Too much going on in the design. The rail adds to the confusion.. I do like the colors.
