She has designed it. We went with simple for the floor though. Just a simple pin line around the outside and a couple logos.

Stopped by extreme to check the progress of our trailer. Also snagging Howard’s shop trailer which was here for something. Then we can use that trailer to water test our boat..

The guys says paint tomorrow and delivered to Howard on Monday.
It’s crazy how much stuff they have going on here.

also, I can see why this little Essex needed that 3rd axle.

Maybe that Essex owner identifies as a Schiada owner.
Like I have come to expect from Extreme, the whole trailer wasn’t ready when I got here, so I’m sitting waiting. But the shop tour was pretty cool. They pump out a lot of stuff.

Haha, I did see that. I’m guessing tomorrow since today seems half gone and I still have to get to Howard. Apparently my motor also needs to go to Teague for my first warranty claim. They just need to put a new seal on a valve cover so it should be less than an hour. Teague is only a block away from Howard so hopefully the water test gets completed tomorrow. I was going to congratulate you on beating me to the water. I’m sure pictures just don’t do your boat and it’s paint any justice. I’ve never been so excited for desert storm as I am this year.

He wants gel colors asap, glad I got everyone's help on a scheme, no turning back now!

I’d have posted the pics and video if we did.
We had a couple delays, pushing us back a little further. Couldn’t get it into Teague to get the motor issue fixed while we were there. Hopefully it gets done right away this morning.

Trailer is finally there, motor issue is taken care of, sea-dek is getting done Friday and numbers and name painted on after. Boat is scheduled for delivery on Wednesday before desert storm.
Our trailer is the black one on top.

Well the trailer is headed back to extreme today to be fixed. The quality control at extreme these days seems non existent. We did get the name and letters painted on.

Water testing this morning and delivered tomorrow, pending no issues with the water test. Everything else is done. I did get a pic from Gene of it sitting on the trailer with the yellow tape off it, but @Mikemo_SDS takes a better pic.

We got a full rundown of the lake test and a bunch of trim setting info from Mike this morning while our boat is on the way here. He also had a few custom prop recommendations to try. This boat should turn like no other with this bottom. It feels like Christmas morning. I can’t wait to get it in the water and try it out.

It has a 28p bravo one on it now. I’m going to look for a 27 max 5 and a 28 labbed bravo.

This is only the second 255 vtx with a 565. The other boat has run on Lake Tahoe, but hasn’t done any much testing. There is another 255 with a custom motor over 700hp, but he also doesn’t push its limits. Apparently it got over 90 pretty quickly with a lot more to go and he wasn’t interested in finding out more. Who knows, it’s all here say. I’m looking forward to playing with it. Most all of our time will be spent at about 10mph pulling a foil.
