How to annoy your neighbor with speakers

Many years ago I read about white noise generators. Over the years, the tech has come out for "noise canceling" headphones. Honestly, I wanted audio/powered "mufflers". The same concept could be used, and marketed to people in noisy apartment areas, or in this case, with annoying neighbors. Mics could pickup sound on offensive side, then the silencing/cancelation sound played toward the user.
The sound of silence.

I'm not really smart enough to do it, but I'm sure someone else is. Beats a shootout with neighbors.

There was an article about such a thing in the early 90s. Not sure what ever came of it. But someone's already thought about it.

Some people go from 0-100 in a flicker and now it's on.

Location ,location,,,,,My first house in Atascadero was new and beautiful but directly across from Decou Lumbers yard ... every morning and all day the "desk" would call out via several loudspeakers "hello out there" , man coming out for 10 2x4s " etc One morning I heard several "reports" from a 22 , when I peeped over at my neighbor ,He was "sniping" at the speakers , He told me they were driving him crazy LOL

My younger days shit like this was entertaining to me, older now like the path of least resistance where possible.

Tried everything with the non stop barking dog.
I went next door 3 times in a month.
Poor dog was left alone all day long outside and barked non stop.
I got a ladder and put a boom box on it and pointed it to their yard and played Mariachi music when the owners got home from 4 to about 9pm.
no more barking dog after 2 days.
Yeah I told my cool neighbors I was going to do it so they were cool about it.

I have a problem with neighbors and their barking dogs all day... but I think the Mariachi would bug me more lol

I used to have a book tilted something like "100 best ways to get back at your neighbors"

Only lived in one apartment. When the manager called us for a noise complaint for signing "happy birthday" it was on.
Some of my favorites.
* Filling out those little tear-offs in magazines. Elvis plate collections. Self help books. Diet books. Did not matter--I filled them out for her and sent them in. No postage necessary and bill me later. Only key--they must not require signature.
* Bought 100's of crickets and released them near her unit.
* Old snake skin left around walkways. Tenants all freeked out there were snakes. (this apartment was in Anaheim)
* Threw raw fish in the bushes. It would rot and smell in the summers.
* Threw a colored bath bomb in pool.--by morning whole pool was pink.

My point is this--do it legal and anonyms. Pointing a speaker at their yard is only going to escalate.
If you dont care if they know it you--then make sure its legal.

I had a neighbor from hell here in NV. Ive documented some of it here on RDP. Cops called 37 times on me in less than 3 years (and her son is a Henderson cop--so you know I was always approached like the bad guy). But yeah--my flood lights and cameras "unintentionally" cast a view on their property. When they had company--it was always a good time to pull out and start up boat. You know--to keep batteries fresh, got to keep the gas fresh. Of course its pointed right at their home. I cut their trees right along the property line (my neighbor hated me even more for that). Whole bunch of other stuff too--but all legal.

Pro tip--make sure your well defended with security and cameras to catch any retaliation first.

Start off by popping your head over the the fence, after you figure out who’s playing, and invite your self. If you hear him, pop your head over the fence, “Hey Jack, is that you?”

I went down this road once, neighbor hated me and I hated him even more. Turns out if he just came over to asked me not shoot in the back yard because it scared his wife it all would have been solved. Years before I grew up and joined a range down the road so I wouldn't annoy the neighbors I liked, apparently he was so pissed he didn't even know I stopped.

Edit: I did find out that mowing your grass right before dark next to thier house does work well enough to be yelled at, not my finest moment.

I have all Bose cabinet speakers out of a bar with a Pioneer Elite at about -35 it’s loud asF when the neighbors are being dipshits i go to -20 it can be heard a couple houses away I’m sure they love it lol.
