Are their eyes open yet? That'll tell you how old they are and the chances of survival. When I was a kid, we raised a couple of two week old pinkys with eye droppers and baby bottles. They became housetrained pets.

You bottle feed then until they can eat solid food. You might need to rub their little belly with a warm dish cloth to keep them from being constipated.

@rivermobster

Should be able to fill you in on the rest of it.

You're a good Man Dan in trying to save the little ones from certain death.

I’m surprised the dog only ate one.
City dog...didn't know what to do 🤣

Oh, and our "zoo" up here is pretty small. A couple of bears and a mountain lion is about all we have of the carnivorous types...now the lion park over the hill, they'll take old horses, and Sheriffs call them when deer or elk get hit by cars:oops:

Find a big open field, where the red tails are circling above,

Set them lose, and mother nature will solve your problem.
Last week I stopped to beat my ground squirrel trap I know more than got out of the truck. A ground squirrel ran past me and a red tail dove and took him out right next to me about five or 6 feet away. It was awesome I have film. I’ll try and find it.

Even adults don't do well with heat. Keep them at a cool temp if you want the to stay alive. And yeah you may have to bottle feed for a while, consult with a vet.

What qualifies as a city dog? I always considered my dogs kind of city, but they have no problem killing rabbits and rats, and they love to eat, baby quail, poor little poppers, get lost in my yard on occasion.😔

I picture one of those yappy little things, the ones that wake up the guard dogs.

Put them in a box and leave them on a neighbors doorstep.
I have been the victim twice. Rabbit and turtle

Had this issue last month. Internet said to leave them, mother comes back in the morning and evening to feed them.

Problem for them was I shot their shithead mother with the 28ga because she was spreading ticks all over the yard.

Rabbits are just one notch above a rat. From whai I found, they love to eat lead. I take care of them with a .22 short all of the time.

Agreed...they are all over my front yard eating my grass and plants....tried different things to get rid of them...but the best thing I did was cut a small hole in the fence to my back yard, allows the rabbits to get back there where my GS takes care of them as seen in the pic above...only problem is, she drops them off at our backdoor and it freaks the wife out...lol...
