I think that's their problem, not yours?

I watch that TV show with those guys, they are responsible for making their deadline.

Greg,

Reach out to Doug Parks. He towed my boat from CA to TN for what I felt was a reasonable price. Absolutely the best customer service I have encountered. I will use him again when the time comes.

Have you looked at freshwater boats in the big lakes and rivers like the TN and OH? Great Lakes boats are great deals as they are freshwater and dry stored nearly 3/4c of the year.

I had and have seen FL boats than have far more wear than those other options. Would not buy one without a hands on look.....;)

$1.50 TO $2.50 a mile depending on size, a 26ft cat from alt Georgia was around 3500 bucks.

If you have the tow rig, take the road trip! Grads doesn't work for a living, hop in the truck and go get it. When My wife and I took the leap of faith on a CL ad, we hopped in the truck and drove 1200 miles to see our boat. I pulled up another dozen boats to look at just in case the one I put an offer on didnt work and and would have come home with something if it didn't. Best road trip my wife and I have ever had. 2400 miles in 2.5 days.

No matter who you use whether it is me or anybody make sure they provide you with an accord insurance certificate that shows commercial cargo insurance otherwise nothing covers your boat

Lot of haulers will tell you they have 1 million insurance at 100% of the time that is for liability insurance that does not cover the boat hooked to the back of the truck

Not a expert for sure, just my experience and what the 2 guys on this board quoted me and 2 haulers from canale marine quoted me few weeks ago from lake lanier Georgia to havasu, i guess when you add on the 500 extra miles 4000 sounds about right and can be way more for a larger boat.
