And what are your thoughts on them? Thinking about pulling the trigger on one. Any input would be appreciated.

That’s actually a funny ass name Greg! Is the next name two in the pink? My mom had one, and it was the most horrible pile of garbage that’s she ever owned. She traded it in a huge loss in like three months after purchase. She lives in running springs, at the top of Hwy 330. Coming up the hill It was under powered. the biggest problem was the anti roll over nonsense that would slam the brakes on in a corner if you took it too fast, and youd get out of shape in a hurry. They could never figure out how to disable it.

They are kind of a flashy look at me type of vehcile. They don't do anything particularly well. Heavy, bad fuel mileage, don't handle well, destroy tires in 10k miles. I don't understand why people would buy them other than the LAM crowd.

I have a 2019 GLE 63s coupe. It has a longer wheelbase, lower center of gravity, handles like a car, better aerodynamics, and tons of power and still gets about 17-18 mpg even with a 700hp V8. It too eats tires but the only tires available for it are 22" soft compound Continentals. And yes a 6' adult can sit in the back with no problem.

I wanted to build a Kustom G wagon pickup. Not the crazy six wheeled one, but a normal lifted G wagon pickup truck.

Since there's the Gladiator, maybe Bronco could make one...

If I could buy the actual German military version without the mall crawler stuff I'd be interested. But only a 20 year old one with 300k miles on it (I'm looking at you Land Cruiser people).

Was super weird when driving. When you came to a stop, the whole vehicle kept rocking back-and-forth from the size of the tires. Flashy though.

Crazy right. The resale on them is astonishing. Just saw a 2021 going for north of 200k.... I'm like wait what? A 2021 G63 new MSRP was about $200k. I know that the last few years certain colors brought in big $$ in resale. The matte colors, baby blue, and the shiny primer grey....

Some of these things were going $150k over MSRP during Covid.

Watch a couple YouTube videos from “Lucky” in Las Vegas. These things dropped value like a rock since Covid almost as bad as a Tesla per him

Take it from me I’ve had most everything within reason they make no sense. They’re heavy. They’re confined terrible fuel economy, and of course, not the world’s greatest handling. There’s many other vehicles that are much much better and practical.

I'd say the design is exactly the opposite of "flashy"; it's literally a big box on wheels. However, the cost, unique utilitarian design and scarcity make stars or people with money want it, making it that in your face type of vehicle.

Not something I'd ever consider, but I do like them. Cool thing is, you can find plenty of them less than 10 or 12 years old for under 70k that are not super high mileage. A 10 year old $60,000 on one looks just like a 2024 that cost 200k! Interiors are the the biggest defrentiator as the 2010s versions look super dated and really show wear and lack nice electronic features at 5 to 10 years old.

Donut Media makes this shirt that I thought was funny.

Welp. Daughter starts driving in 4 years. She has been saying “I want a bronco…” and today at lunch she screamed and was like “omg it’s a bronco..” I pointed to the actual bronco and she was like “no the black one…”

Guess I know what I should start looking for…

Wife loves them…she’s Iranian so it makes sense. I’d rather have a GLS 63 4Matic if I’m going for a large Merc SUV.
