12 total. The rest must have heard that Obama cancelled Halloween at the White House and figured he cancelled it all together!

Around 100. Started around 5:30 and last one came at 8:20. After 30 minutes, tuned off the lights around 9 and activate the exterior security cameras.

Every year we get over 300 but this year, 132.
Not sure what happened.
This is the first time the house wasn't decorated because we didn't have our usual Halloween bash.

Probably had 125-150... the majority were local to the neighborhood. I was so pleased with how polite they all were. All but three said "thank you" (excluding the little ones who were too young). All of the parents were super friendly too, one a little too friendly as he thought it was cool for him to cruise around with a bag to collect candy for himself  Saw some great costumes and it seems like zombie/gore makeup is all the rage this year. Good Halloween at our house

Zero, same as the last 3 years. Knowing that I still bought candy. Now I'll be eating it for the next few months.

i had a firepit in the driveway, about 20 of us outside, my car was blasting halloween music, a projector playing halloween videos on the garage door, etc. barely anything... /facepalm.

None, but about 20 or so rang the doorbell:D:D
Mid-week school night, paranoid parents, and a host of reasons its not like it used to be. Shit, when I was a kid trick or treating we'd still be ringing doorbells at 10 or later, lots of kids were:thumbup:. Neighbors never cared and it felt like they enjoyed along with us.

None, same as last year also. We live at the end of a dark street with just a few homes on it. Wife still asked me buy her favorite candy to hand out just in case someone showed.:rolleyes

I was at work so I'm not sure. But it looks like a lot of the candy I bought is gone.

We had 7. One of the advantages/disatvantages of semi rural living. We used to get tons. Kids on quads dads driving hay wagons etc. But that was in years past.

3 groups 12 kids total. We are getting less and less every year. They are getting shipped to the "Super Tracks", Disneyland or the malls. Not the same as it used to be.

We got Zero at our house.

It was our first year here in Havasu but we did go downtown and there were a couple of thousand down there on Main Street so I'm guessing that's what they do around here......someone school me on this please??

It was pretty cool down there though.....I noticed a lot more High School aged kids who seemed like it was cool to dress up in that atmosphere but probably wouldn;t have done it just to go door to door for candy:D

We grilled hotdogs on the firepit, multiple pumpkins, purple and orange lights...about 40 kids.

the 17 yo took his sister out till he got "Tired"...I took her out for the rest. About a paper shopping bag full of candy. One house ( a preacher) was strange...they pulled into the driveway right as we walked up, so my daughter hits him up,"Trick or Treat". He looked at her and said,"NO", and walked off...the wife apologized and said they had no candy.

WAY TO MANY WERE BROUGHT IN by mini vans coulnt even say thank you !!

This is our experience also........ :thumbsdown

We always just set up in our garage so that we aren't answering the door all night long.

We had about 125 - 150 kids. Went through 3 large Costco sized bags of candy. We closed the door about 7:45 when we ran out.

Same issue with the mini vans bringing them in. I'm cool with any kid coming by for trick or treat, but at least they could say thank you. I always embarrass them by yelling out "YOU'RE WELCOME" as they are walking (running) away. I love the look on their parent's faces when I do this. Parent's usually respond with a thank you at that point. The other thing that pisses me off is the 17 year olds that are wandering the streets slumming for candy and they don't even have costumes on.....

Oh well, we had alot of cute little kids that made up for the rest......

Same.
We are on a culdesac that kind of wraps around. The houses at the beginning were all dark this year so hardly anyone made the trip down our street.

I'm pretty sure there were none but I wouldn't know as we were not home. We took our minivan to a better neighborhood. :D

Just ask the kids at the door thier zip code. Wrong zip code, no candy.

Probably had around 400. Maybe 15 of those kids lived in our neighborhood. The rest come in from other areas and are all thankless, shitty, no good citizens, probably Obama supporters.

We had several "grandma" age women grab candy and put it in their own bag.

Also, had a kid that was about 8 or 9 years old tell me he was dressed up like a "blood" Really? Losers.

This is how it is at my parents house. Mini vans full of kids getting dropped off. I just talked to my mom and she said it was nuts. They never even had a chance to shut the door as there was a line formed waiting. Always been crazy in their neighborhood.

I'm going to conservatively guess 200, probably a lot more. We had 4 large Costco bags of candy, 150 in each bag plus 180 full size candy bars. We built a haunted maze in our backyard and had kids waiting 15-20 minutes to go through it. At one point is was like we had a flash mob in front of our house. 3 cars full of kids jumped out started dancing in the street then took off. :D

We had tons...ran out of candy at about 8:30.

Most were kids from other areas, who always seem to come to the beach for goodies.
Unlike what others seem to have experienced, most were very polite, both kids and parents :thumbsup

I started asking the kids if they were from around the neighborhood. If they were shipped in, then they would only get 1 candy. If they were local kids, they would get a handful :D:thumbsup :skull

I don't have a problem with the kids that get bussed in. It's not their fault their own neighborhoods are shitty or unsafe. If they're polite I don't treat them any different. They're just trying to enjoy a fun holiday. Now, if they're disrespectful, trashing the neighborhood, or even if their parents have a hand out for some candy I'm gonna get pissed. But that goes for even the people that live in the neighborhood.

Manhattan Beach, walk street, in front of our house. The usual mob scene. We gave away about 1,500 pieces. One of our favorite events of the year. Yeah, a lot are bussed in later in the night, but all were polite. Another fun night.
