Keep working your tail off dude.
I used to complain sometimes about having so much work and not enough time to do it. I only wish I had that problem today. If there's a dollar to make, make it!!

I consider myself the guy who gets that and takes this advice to heart.

I always think my job is about to end. Even now, I think that way but things are fine.

It seems to me, you need to make a certain amount of money in your life. The sooner you get that taken care of, the better.

This is a hard working bunch.
I was an overtime whore in my day, too.
Especially when working the task force.
I know the reasons you are doing it, guys...and they are all valid.
But remember..you don't get any of those hours back on the other end...no guarantee of it. So be wise about getting some time for life in there, too.

i was reading all of these replies and was thinking i work just enough to be happy...sure i could hustle more and work more, but i love picking the kids up from daycare...practicing soccer with them and hanging out...i didn't have a family so i could work 80+hrs a week and not see them...

i might not have the nicest things, but i sure enjoy them with my family...

When you own a business... and you live on the property... it seems like you NEVER get a break... even during "break time"... Phone calls, bartending, getting customers ice, breaking down/setting up/moving trailers, ordering food, ordering alchohol, stocking, cleaning up, resetting power breaker, someone backs into a water line, cleaning rentals, running storage bills, taking photos... :blah:

...Hmmm???...There doesn't seem to be a zero option for us slackers???...

...Haven't had a paying gig in 26 years... ...That was in the movie biz... ...The usual could be 80 hours a week,...but there were weeks when I was on the clock 168 hours...24 hrs,...7 days...

...It used to be said of me that I work harder at not working than most people do at working???...

I used to work 60 a week until my back injury in April. Now I work zero and it's driving me crazy. I hope this epidural shot series works.

Currently working 7 days a week. Flying about 3.2-3.5 hours a day. But I am in a hotel in Lake Village, Arkansas. 13 hrs from home. Got another 12-15 days then home for a few days off.
