I’m the guy on the far left, humbled to be in the same room with all these people.

Many West Coast Custom legends in this pic.
And I have to mention
That’s my mom next to me. She did The Godfather’s” books for about 3 decades.

How many of these folks can you name?

A few kinda maybe look familiar but the only one I can name and have known him since was a kid is Pat Murphy, back row far left. Worked with them at 3 different shops, at one time he was a rigging partner with dad. Older brother of ski legend Mike Murphy, another brother Nick use to rig too. Guy in the shades next to him looks familiar as does the guy standing next to the lady and the little guy, front row second from right looks familiar.

Christ, I haves seen Murph for almost 20 years, down in the marine stadium.

The guy to the left of Bob leach looks like the guy at the conquest booth at the LH boat show. Am I wrong?

I remember Murphy had a set of molds back in the 70s, little 16 bubble deck...I think and he'd sell complete boats now and then. He always used American Eagle engine/outdrive package. Little V6 with a strange kind of shroud covering the engine. haha it's weird what pops in your head when seeing pics like this of someone you knew so well back in the day and now never see.

Okay -- I'll toss out a few names -- Joyce Sullivan, Jim Sullivan, Greg Shoemaker, Dennis Winzen, Bob Leach, Tom Stolarz, Cliff Lotz, Chris Camire, Jerry Barron, Jim Kuklish, Pat Murphy. This doesn't make me old, does it? My sincere apologies I didn't make it to the reunion -- was out of town attending to family business. For those not familiar with this group, here is the backbone of the Southern California performance boat industry for the past half century.

I kinda thought you took the picture.

I think I missed one in the photo....is the gentleman in the front row and long sleeved light colored shirt Ron Ossenberg? If so, I haven't seen him in 40 + years -- at one time the super sales person for Eliminator.

I had 5.
Only one not already named is Dennis Winzen - Carrera 80s and 90s in the Hawaiian shirt
Bought new 20’ Carrera from Dennis 1990. he handled everything as said he would. Even had Competitive build the trailer just under 8’ wide. Had a container built for the boat. Young guy at the time at Carrera, Scott put up with me, it was a big deal for us in 1990. The boat was perfect for years. Same thing with Bruce Nescher, still have a boat Bruce built. Incredible generation of builder founders.

Dennis organized this whole thing👍
My mom may have mentioned it was going down😎
So I had to make my Thursday free.

How often can one witness this many legends in one place and time?
Dennis is an awesome guy. When I bought my Carrera a few years ago, Rocky put me in touch with Dennis. He sent me a ton of old pictures when he owned the boat, told me a bunch of stories, etc. I think he was just as excited to hear from me as I was from him! He sent me this cool pic of him, his salesman and I forget who the third is, along with his Harley that matches my boat.

Where was this? I was going guess Jim Sullivan next to your mom, but I've never met him to the best of my knowledge. I do remember an article about Jim being Eliminators top gelcoater in one of the boat mags, but that been a while. You might have been mentioned in the same article if I remember correctly.
