Zach, do you think we'll start seeing guys hunting hogs out of these things?

Multiple seaters with AR mounts sounds like fun with a danger factor for fools that venture beyond their talent level.:eek:

I don’t think so. There are a lot of FAA rules governing shooting from an aircraft along with TPWD.

So totally different rules compared to hunting hogs from a helicopter?

Other aircraft need to install some type of drone guard that obliterates any that get struck.....

Obnoxious "spying" and hovering over personal areas of others should allow the folks being "violated" the right to remove the drone by any means available, taking into account the safety of others in the line of fire.......;)

How are the aircraft shown in the OP and next posts governed by the FAA?

Sounds like, and I imagine the shooting regs apply to any type of aircraft and indeed are subject to TPWD rules on hunting game animals or varmints. What do you know about if the actions take place on large parcels of public property by the landowner and guests as far as shooting hogs and varmints? Is there any exceptions perhaps?

If you want to be wonky about about it, "personal drones" will never be available, since a drone is an unmanned vehicle

"A drone, in a technological context, is an unmanned aircraft. Drones are more formally known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or unmanned aircraft systems (UASes). Essentially, a drone is a flying robot. The aircrafts may be remotely controlled or can fly autonomously through software-controlled flight plans in their embedded systems working in conjunction with onboard sensors and GPS."

Well, if you want to get really technical, a personal drone is just a drone owned by a person not a public entity.

But I think most understood what I was saying in the thread title. :p;):D

Every time I view a video of Coperzachs deer net shooter, I think, Hmmm, that sucker would bring down a drone :D
Just not sure how high it will shoot, he's always shooting down.

That is exactly what's being developed and used in other countries already. I think the UK has had success with shooting down Drones with net guns. There's also a type of electricity disruptor device that causes them to lose power and drop. Like I said, stuff will be on the market soon I'm sure.

Motherfuckers can't hardly drive a car that is stuck on the ground. How do you think the public will be able to handle 3 dimensions if they can't deal with 2....

They're all just a big nuisance. Noisy as fuck and obnoxiously irritating, no matter what size they are.

Sounds like aerial lake lice... lol :p
