3" fire hose at midnight hooked to the hydrant in front of your house , 15-18 mins :cool

I'll need 400 feet of hose. :D

2 inch meter and a 1 inch meter. Both flowing. Two hoses on the 2 inch meter, one hose on the 1 inch meter.

I'm guessing 9:30pm tomorrow. Assuming the hoses keep flowing the same rate throughout the night that is.

I'm gonna say 3:20pm ish tomorrow.
FYI: you'll wanna move the hoses into deep end in the water, flowing from shallow if left in one spot can leave a stain in plaster, it can resemble a ghost bathtub ring

You running it all night? If you are it'll be full by 10:30am tomorrow. [emoji106]

We're on an agricultural co-op dealio.

I brought fire hose home from work. Called the guy who works the knobs at the water company and told him what I needed to fill the pool. He shows up in an old Toyota truck and pajama bottoms lol.

I ran a few hundred feet of fire hose from the corner and he opened the hydrant. 20' x 40' pool was full in a couple hours, if that.

It's nice to live amongst rednecks once in a while [emoji2]

I'm going to say 12-14 hours. I filled mine with two hoses and it took 14 hours including the spa and I'm a 15x30. You have three hoses but a bigger perimeter a big deep end and the trough.
Truth! When we refilled ours I think Mr.DB said it was something like $52. Suck it, CA!!

It's not all bad. My city owns all the groundwater around here. Funny driving by wells in other cities and seeing your cities water district signs. Cost me 30 bucks to fill up my pool.

Suck it DB. [emoji16]

What's that about 36,000 gallons or so?

Ours was 38,000 and I know what it took with a 2" centrifucal on our well.

Did you move the hose throughout the fill up? Any marks on where the hoses were? I'm surprised they didn't wrap the ends in a towell.

Is this California ? People are being shamed here to not have pools ...does Havasu have any rules or conditions for pools during drought conditions ? In today's world we should all be politically correct ...not !

Nope, not California, middle of the desert. We're all good with acres of yards and big pools.:D

Again I think this depends on the locale. Pool building seems to be rampant in the Inland Empire.

Personally I think I'll be using a ton less water to maintain my water level than keeping a ton of grass green. It also prompted us to change to drought tolerant plants in the planter.

Lastly when permitting and dealing with inspectors every single city person was all excited for me about the pool and telling me about theirs.
