Three years. It's the first thing I've ever had custom built. It was our 10 year anniversary present to each other.

Bought my forst Ultra back in 92, kept it for 11 years, bought my second Ultra in 03, going to keep it for a while... it's all paid for, and pretty much everything I need/want, 23 footer, 496 HO, Bravo 1x, all Dana trim tabs, and we totally don't want a new Boat payment... RIGHT NOW... my Plan is to hand it down to my oldest son in several years....:D:D:D

Will be 5 years the Friday of Desert Storm. Every year I try to do something small to it to keep it fresh and since my daughter was born in Dec, no new to me boat is in my future.

8 months. I love our boat, but I have a wandering eye when it comes to boats - I already know what I want next. The bad part is that I don't think that I will want to ever get rid of our current boat (it is the only one Ultra ever built like this which is pretty damn cool) so I guess I should start forming my game plan for convincing my husband that having two boats is a good idea ;):D

I had the 16 foot ski boat with the 85 evinrude from 17 to 21 years old.
The 19' Manta ray jet from 27-28
The Dana 19jet from 29-31
First child born at age 30, then boatless till age 37.
Traded a Yamaha riva for the Carlson pictured, restored from floor up, had it from 37 to 52
Had a Kayot tri-toon 28' for a minute two years ago, hated it!
Had a Galaxie Starion open bow for a minute after the Tri-toon.
Sold my Carlson baby and Galaxie project last summer to get the Sleekcraft Executive.
At 52 I only have the Sleek with no plans to get anything else in the near future.............................what? It could happen.:smackhead

Mine was in pretty rough shape when I got it, it ran but the interior was hammered!!! Let me see if I can find some before and after pics.

Bought my 21' Advantage from Harry Christenson at the factory in Oct 1994 and still have it, still a great boat. Would like to trade up for bigger boat but, this one is paid for. And I don't want to make payments...

RIP Harry...... :grumble:

My Advantage will be 20 years this coming Labor Day. I ordered it in 92 from Bob Sepulveda during the Long Beach Boat Show that year.

Great boat and lots of great memories. No plans to get rid of it.......

76 Hallett 20' bought hull in 89 and resurrected, dont use much anymore but how can you get rid of it for a couple grand, hell the LS-6 is worth a lot more than I could sell it for and I love this boat. I like to say other than routine maintainance Im in this baby for 10K all in, and I have used it for 22 plus years!

92 Howard 22' Offshore bought last summer, almost done with the rebirth, thread coming soon, what can i say I like classics. A bit more than 10k, still under 30, but this is a lot of boat for what I have in it, and I love it.

I have owned the Southwind Jet for 23 years. I bough the Southwind when i was 20 and I don't think I will ever sell it. I also had a Hallett V-Drive that I owned with a buddy for about 5 years.

Picked it up from a used car lot in Houston 25 years ago. 6 motors, 3 interiors, 1 crappy paint job later it will now be all I've ever wanted it to be. New triple, new Gel, new interior etc. Plan to keep it at least another 25. One day it'll get a blower motor.

99 Daytona 250, bought new late 98 so will be 14 years late this summer. Still in great shape, but starting to need some TLC on interior... Always garaged and well maintained!

Bought our 1999 SkiSanger DLX in 2002 and have no plans of selling it.

Bought the 18ft. Jet last fall, and it will stay in the family too, once it is restored.

The only other boat I would ever want is a 65 ft. houseboat on Bullards Bar, and that ain't happening unless I win the lottery.

that does everything we need and the most important thing is its paid for!:D

going on 9 years. Been thinking about selling and getting a Daytona or Mach 22, just having a hard time justifying spending the money. Other then a ridiculous fuel bill it's a great boat for me and mine...

This will be our third year with our current ride. Before this boat, the longest we have ever had one was for two years before getting a new one. I couldn't be happier with this ride, wish I would have started drinking the Kool-aid long ago.... Probably would have saved a lot of money by doing so.
