Gigi, the boys and I have spent a ton of time on the water this summer. Michigan, Rhode Island, Jersey Shore, Long Island have been stops on our racing / boating schedule this summer. This is my traveling ride and setup. It has been a process getting it dialed in. Special thanks to @C-Ya for helping me reel in the Highfield and lining up the trailer. I spent the beginning of summer installing this A frame rack over for the boys race boats. It has all come together pretty nicely. My truck and trailer will be in NY storage at my parents place and then shipped back out to SoFlo for winter racing. What have you guys been up too?

My season has and will be slow....my floor had a soft spot, turned out bigger then I thought it was....didn't want to end my season completely by taking it in to get fixed...so been using the boat locally with just limited load (wife and I) until this winter when I can take it in to the shop....

I'm not a big traveler but this year has been pretty epic for us and the family. In laws have a place in parker and my parents have a place in Havasu springs so we bounce back and forth between the two when we go out. Some new boats have popped up in our crew so always fun to check out and play with new toys. We were able to attend the MTI Bahamas meet up for a week and that was one of the funnest weeks I've ever had out boating. We would run anywhere from 20-70 miles offshore each day island hopping and just checking out all the different stops. MTI puts on some great events. We headed up to idaho last month in the motorhome and got to hang out for a week at my grandparents house on Lake Pend Oreille. One of the most beautiful lakes to boat on and the weather was awesome. I've been going up there every summer since I was a kid and its so cool that my kids get to experience it now. We love doing the watersports up there and I even had my crazy 18 month old out on the surf board and she was pissed when I would have us stop. We also went to Catalina for a few days with the family and got to sit out on my brother in laws boat and watch the Catalina Ski racers make the turn which was awesome. Did some fishing while we were there too. We have an RV spot reserved for the lake Powell Challenge so we are planning to attend that as well, if we go that will be my first time at Powell. really excited to check it out. Other than that were going to try to fit in a few more weekend trips to parker and havasu

Season been really good. Living the dream honestly.

We bought a place in Parker beginning of the year and gives me a reason to go pretty often to remodel the house slowly. My oldest turned 3 and have been a nut case to my wife so she wants us to get out of the house. Lots of father and son trip so far. She doesn't like to go till later in the season so we still have a lot more trips.

Our summer has been interesting…

Every trip out to havasu required a trip to the mechanic. We did 4 havasu/needles trips with two more to go. We always skip mid July-August because of the heat. There’s a 35+ year annual tradition with Robert’s family/friends of going to Carlsbad the last weekend. It’s one of my favorite weekends since it changes up the pace.

Just doesn’t seem like there has been enough time this summer. We've been out twice in the new float so far and am still getting use to it. Will be out next week for a couple of runs and then I’m slammed for the foreseeable future..

Beautiful pictures! We want to go next year for sure!

Thank you, be sure to book in advance, its easier to cancel than it is too book late.

I think the MTI’s look so much better with a white bottom. That gray CC is sharp,!

It has been a tough go for us this summer, we lost my mother in law and she was such a big part of our lives. Last weekend was our first outing without her and it was tough. However the good lord and her blessed us with some amazing weather and views. We were also able to get our 2 daughters up on waterskis for the first time which was amazing!

The trip up to Idaho wasn’t too bad! On our way home we left at the wrong times and we went through Vegas at the hottest part of the day so we were definitely a little warm even with the ACs cranking. We also got stuck in that whole mess with the battery semi flipped and on fire on the 15. Luckily we went through at the end of it and only cost us about 2 hours of traffic. Other than that it was smooth sailing and no break downs.

Bahamas was amazing, anybody that gets the opportunity should definitely do it. My parents did the MTI fun run in Florida and they said it was a blast too. We plan to do that trip with them next year if we are invited. My dad said Florida boating is night and day better than west coast boating

Been a great summer in Parker so far and thanks to Kyndl “step decks” the rest of summer is going to be even better with the new to me 22 Schiada!

It’s been awesome to have all 3 of my daughters make a couple trips this summer as well. Hard to get all 3 together!

This summer has been absolutely awesome! I went boatless for over 10 years. Finally jumped on something that I thought I'd like. It's been nothing but good times from mid week boat trips to epic weekend trips. I was actually shocked that the wife jumped on board.

Haven't boated at all this summer and I really don't mind. Too freaking hot out there this year. I will be back in November.

Ya know….
It’s been an adventure for sure this year. Got my rebuilt motor back in my boat from Exotic Engines, bought a vacation house in Havasu, had to furnish it top to bottom, did a bit of work to it, finally took the boat out last month a few times now that we were finished with all that. We go about every 2-3 weeks. Other weeks we ride bikes at the beach. Big props to my retired wife for handling EVERYTHING. Literally. She loves the heat and our new Lake House. Life is good this year. Met some new friends at the lake also. Expecting our 9th grandkid next month. Just turned 58 a week ago. Hope I look as good as my wife in 7 years as she does.
We will be returning next weekend. I have hand surgery then elbow surgery coming up so there’s that to look forward to 🤦‍♂️
Oh, and trying to get boat insurance for the last year has been a real joy. Got canceled but just got reinsured a couple weeks ago. Pain in the ass.
I think working in this Indio heat and humidity is worst than Havasu weather
