As reported, there was another accident today at a 4 way on Acoma. A lady ran the stop, at a high rate of speed. Collided with and flipped a small SUV. The driver who ran the stop was reportedly 5 months pregnant. No info on injuries for either vehicle. No medical event reported for the driver who ran the stop.

I did it too on a Honda 250R, I just didn't know it had a name. I pulled off the damn twist throttle upgrade that the guy that sold it had put on right then and put the thumb throttle back on. Not the only time I nearly killed myself on that thing. Ended up selling it back to him.

Haha. When I was 20, which was 50 years ago, I bought a new dirt bike. I hauled it home, and my brother stopped by and wanted to try it out. He immediately “whiskey throttled” it into the side of his car. It dented his door pretty good, but didn’t hurt him (aside from his pride) or the bike, so I got a good laugh out of it. I’ll have to remind him of that sometime.

Riding a dirt bike in the desert whoops hauling ass... it happens easier than you think. I went over backwards going 40+ during a Hare Scramble. There is a point of no return it seems and you just instantly realize that your brain will not twist the throttle back. Like Fight or Flight reaction bullshit where your body chooses flight.

Doing it on the street in a parade I have a hard time understanding but yet an officer loses his hand and many others hurt. Terrible.
