We got us a solid 9° this morning. Frosty!

Small lakes and ponds were frozen yesterday, larger stuff had ice on the edges.

High water has not gone down. Looks like front door ice skating for my neighbor up the street. This won’t be pretty in spring.

Another lake a mile up the road from me, also one of HeadlessHula’s haunts. He and I were out here in December last year tuning the HeadlessHula. It’s 9° when this was taken this morning.

This is the shallower lake across the highway. She’s frozen...

Got down to 73 last night. Almost time to start closing up the windows in th house at night and wearing t-shirts rather than tank tops in the evenings. by the way going to head up to CO for the holidays. Anyone have tips on how to keep warm when temps are down in th e30s.

Apparently cold enough to go ice fishing on Thanksgiving. No way is that safe ice. Right off the in-laws dock.
