How Bad To Things Have To Get before people wake up?

Gas at $10/gal? $15? $20? Or just not available at any price?

Same for food? $20 for a dozen eggs? Hamburger at $10/lb? Empty shelves?

Unfortunately, I think it will have to get to the point of no return and even then many will refuse to acknowledge what is happening.
I'm sure if you ask a couple of our resident lefties here (@Vlads, @530) they will adamantly exclaim how it is not the fault of the current administration but rather Trump, Putin, climate change, astrology, Elmer Fudd, evil white racists, or any other ridiculous thing they can come up with, or more accurately, what they have been told by their handlers.

So the big question is, what can we do? I'm sorry to say but at this point, I don't think there is anything we can do. I guess wait and see what happens after two more years of decline but I don't have any hopes to see any kind of reform.

I have to give the left/Marxists/communists credit though. They have successfully executed their long term plan. Extreme lack of morals, breakup of the nuclear family, control of the media and education system, the indoctrination of youth, control of tech, etc. has resulted in mindless sheeple that will follow whatever the "cool" trend is. Goodbye America. It was nice knowing you. I hope to enjoy at least a few more good years but I'm afraid "a few" might be an optimistic number.

Everyone has been bitching about the price of everything...rent, food, gas, etc...in Long Beach for a while now. They just voted on a measure that will raise property taxes to fund something "for the schools", which will go to other stuff, exactly as all the other money for the schools has gone. A lot of these voters are renters, complaining about evil greedy landlords all the time...and they just voted to raise their landlords operating cost on their properties. I wish I could say I'm shocked.

Last night showed that the Country is split right down the middle when it comes to ideology. There are no more “independents” and haven’t been for a while.

As history has shown, there are about two ways that this situation plays out.😔

Here's how I see it.

If Republicans took the house and senate the dems would blame the Republicans for the upcoming recession even thoughit was caused by the dems, now the only ones to blame are the dems.

I love Trump but he will split the vote and we will end up with a dem remaining in the Whitehouse in 2024, he needs to just step back and let DeSantis run with Abbott or Cruz or ...... as a running mate

I said this was a referendum of the voter. Do they want more of the same, crime, inflation, higher energy prices, crappy foreign policy, corruption, etc. all of which is brought to them by the Dems? Or do they want change?

Clearly Dem policies cause these problems, especially inflation, crime and high energy prices. I mean they spin it but whatever.

But if we vote for more of same, then we are going to get more of same. Do we as a country need to suffer some more before there is change?

Some real time polling of voters clearly shows that democrat voters believe Dem politicians and government policies are NOT responsible for inflation. (they believe the spin) Interesting, huh… Economists and theory clearly show that is the case. But those voters just ignore those facts.

Just some perspective

Got another punch to the balls today.
SDG&E announced that electric bills will go up on average $20 starting Jan 1 and gas will be $10.

How many of those hood winked illegals where allowed to cast a vote during ballot harvesting?

I watched a hispanic lady with a kid and some snake looking carribean hispanic guy that was clearly not her boy friend cruise through the Phoenix airport on their way to Florida on the same flight as my family a year ago. No ID just a piece of paper she showed everyone.
Seems there are several sets of rules happening here. One for us tax cattle and others for the others..

The republicans had a chance to fix this and they didn't. mclame and that faggot paul Ryan got their cheap work force while the commies got their votes.

Get back to work. Millions on government welfare depend on you.

You have to realize that the great Re-set has been in the planning for nearly a century . “ They “ have planned for every contingency, it’s going smoothly. You remember when that one guy at Biden’s rally kinda threatened him , Biden got in his face and threatened him back with nukes and F 15 ‘s as his retaliatory response .Sadly , history shows that violence is the only answer . My friend one time said : I hope I live long enough to witness the revolution , I just don’t want to be the first 100 or so that gets shot …

I'm amazed people haven't already taken to the streets with torches and pitchforks with the cost of everything being what it is. Goes to show that the majority of people had more buffer $$ than we thought.

My son and I discussed the last period of inflation back in the 70’s which lasted over 10 years, up and down…. Before there was change. That was caused by massive deficit spending over a long period of time.

Maybe this is history repeating itself.

Maybe we need to go through that again…. You know to teach those unwilling to learn from history

Its seems people are content receiving free taxpayer funded handouts in the form of stimulus. Maybe this elections shows that voters can be bought.

This may continue until we run out of money, which has already happened…..

Nailed it. We either learn to live under the submission of globalist thumb or there will be violence.

Inflation, food and energy are stress tests going on now.

It is repetitive but for different reasons. Global finances are much more complicated and intertwined nowadays. We also have a generational shift from the wealthiest generation dying off and costing the country it's future to hospice its past. Not to mention the target the US has on it's back as the world reserve currency.

In the 70's it was a couple of stupid moves. Now days we're being taken out from the inside.

Perhaps it's just as simple as people no longer giving a shit or caring about trying to improve themselves or actually having morals or values.

We are now several generations into reality tv and or social media and before that we had kids that were raised by dvd's or or Nintendo.

I don't think you can blame society on the democrats or the republicans at this point it's just the downfall of society happening in Realtime.

in other communist takeovers, typically the powder keg is light when the food shortages hit. i just hope folks are smart enough to go after the cuase and not each other first. it's gonna be ugly.
I fear this...a lot. People will not, as a whole, rise against those causing the issues. It's not an intelligence thing, or lack there of, it would be a survival thing.

If my kids had little food, my primary concern would be to feed them. That is my purpose as a parent. That said, the pantries and shelves are stocked for them here. They know how to protect themselves here, and what work needs to be done around here.
They can stay safe at home, if I cannot.

My idea for conservatives to win every election, except in the bluest states/districts... Drop abortion.

Policy argument: Most abortions are stupid people and democrats. At bare minimum it's 90% people who shouldn't be having kids. They become a burden on the system just like their parents. Or they grow up to vote in more Democrats because free stuff.

Life argument: Yes, this is true and sad. I used to cling to this argument. But how many kids have you adopted? None? Then STFU and support abortion. Having some dumbass birth a kid is not going to teach them personal responsibility. It's more likely that they will remain poor and churn out a criminal or a burden. If you aren't going to adopt kids, then you have no solution for the babies that would have been aborted. We sure as hell know the government has no solution for these kids.

Choice argument: This shit is propaganda to get women riled up. They can either choose to abort it or choose to keep it... and force the man to pay for it. They want their cake and eat it too. But either way, if conservatives drop abortion... it can be about "choice."

It's a shitty topic no matter how you look at it. Personally, I think people using abortion as a contraceptive should be shamed because it's bullshit. But this is probably the single biggest issue keeping normal, sane people away from the Republican party.

Not flaming away, actually I agree for the most part...but I'm curious as to who you think are "Republican" types, if this issue is keeping the "normal" and "sane" people away?
Per capita, I would think the group backing "family friendly drag shows" and "drag queen storytimes" seems to have more extremists.
Just by the law of averages, both sides should have their freaks...but then also will the "normal" group.

50% of the population is below average intelligence.
The scary part is that 80% of the population thinks that they're above average intelligence...

The real good news for today is that I'm not getting the constant barrage of spam risk phone calls and political texts...

There are normal sane people who say the drag show shit, gender ideology being taught to kids, lockdowns, vaccines mandates, etc. are all bad.

But "Republicans take away women's' rights." So they vote blue.

These are middle to upper class women. Their husbands fall in line with the same thought process. I live in CA... there's plenty of them.

I personally think it's a big enough group to take the swing states/districts.

What becomes the big issue after that? Gun control, climate control and LGBTQ+-$% rights? When their wallets start hurting, those issues drop down the list. They have to keep moving the goal posts on LGBTQ rights because... they have all of the rights.

My wife is an "educated" type...I'm just a fuktard dropout. She sees the women's rights being more eroded by the LGBTQ rights. Her view is that of an athlete that competed, on scholarship, at NCAA finals. She sees the things getting worse in that respect.
I'm just stubborn and old school...she actually has reasons.

I agree that it's a huge issue too.

I feel like most women are on the fence or lean right on that topic. But are afraid of the cancel culture that comes with not falling in line on Rainbow Flag Rights.

For me it's straight science.

I just whooped everyone's ass in a ping pong tournament at my office yesterday... and that's a minimal athleticism sport 🤣

Don't have a problem with that. But also don't want to pay for their abortion. Let them pay for it themselves.

Just fix elections and everything will be fine. Month long voting, after election day voting, delayed counting and mail in ballots are the problem. It may be too late for that..................unless you want to get bloody.

This country is not as Blue as they'd like you to believe, they're cheating and when I say they're, I'm talking both sides.

Until the people realize that their enemy resides in State Capitals & D.C., there's no sense in talking solutions, they don't understand the battle.

We, the working, middle class, owners of assets including homes, are the targets for the Communist Democratic Party. We work hard, believe in our families, not fans of abortions, illegal immigration, or crime - we want law and order and great, safe schools for our kids, and we pay taxes so they can destroy our country using our $.

We’ll be the last to revolt as we have everything we love and hold dear, on the line.

We are screwed.

Yep, women and kids (for the most part) are the reason we keep electing these shit candidates. The last stat I saw was 66% of women vote Dem as opposed to only 33% of men. Women and kids tend to vote on emotions instead of logic.
