I havent been to CTRC...is it similar to this place, you just show up and drive?

Yes it's just up the road a 1/4 mile. Put $10 in the box and race all you want, they have water and everything you need. Great track!

Right on! Get 2 of each....thats what Ive learned...my son enjoys it so much more when we RC together...so whatever he gets, make sure to get yourself something that can be enjoyed at the same time, if you dont already have something...

Picked up a new RC....supposedly capable of +80mph out of the box....I have GPS'd it at 68 so far with an older set of batteries and the slower pinion gear...so I believe its fully capable of the +80mph...

I think @ChrisV would approve of the body update

I work next to ultimate hobbies and go in there sometime. Really want to get back into this. Just scared ill tag my kids with one. hhaha

LOL yeah thats a real possibility.....I don't run any of the really fast stuff in tight spaces....we usually take them out to a really open area....

This is the body it originally came with, I am planning on figuring out a way to mount the twin turbo/intercooler on the GTR
