Truth is I just drop the 31 at adrenaline and have him clean it and put it away for me.

Most of the time I just have Jesse (adrenaline detail) launch me and pick me up so I don’t have to do any of the trailer stuff with my wife. It’s been much better on our marriage! Money well spent

I’ve seen a few ballers in my day that their house of cards collapsed around them. Especially in this business. Guys buy up shit as fast as you can find it for them, and then sell it all as fast as they can a year later.
Sounds like it good for business

Dont ever get into Marlin fishing… $80 is a cheap lure… If you have out riggers out, you may have 5-7 of them in the water at one time.

Fishing saltwater… go buy “1 scoop of live bait”, then go burn 150 gallons of fuel…

Stick to Freshwater fishing… your wallet will love you.
Why I do tuna trip on a charter for 1.5-2 days. 🤣wAy cheaper lol

I wonder where they store those boats and cars. Hopefully an indoor warehouse. I imagine they will sit a long time before they go to auction. Doesn’t seem like a 600k judgement would call for taking a 2 million dollar center console and that skater plus the cars. Interest or not, that’s pretty lopsided. Who knows what’s in the safe too. I’m guessing the Feds are taking his shit for a different reason
I did a job 15 years ago for a company in Riverside that stores all the stuff seized by all the 3 letter agencies (DEA, ATF, FBI, CIA, HLS...). They had (4) buildings each anywhere from 400k SF to 600K SF filled!!!! The stuff they had stored in there was WILD!!!! Everything was Gov seized and was placed there for "storage" during the court case. If the accused won their case, they paid the storage fee and got their stuff back... they lose and that company auctioned off the stuff, paid the storage fees plus an auction fee, and the rest of the funds went to the arresting agency. Everything had stickers on it of who had a seized it and had right to the money. They also had a wall with pics of houses, planes and yachts that obviously wouldn't fit in the buildings. Cars all shot up with DEA/FBI stickers on the doors, saw an Abrams tank simulator, boxes and boxes of computers seized in office raids. The stories the guys had were crazy about what goes on at the auctions with drug lords sending people to bid on their shit. They would often put undercover agents in the auction to watch if somebody would bid a crazy number on something, thats when they knew something important was hidden in the car. A flash drive, black book... etc. Pretty wild place, guessing this stuff will end up in a place like that, they had facilities all over the US.

That’s kinda fucked that if you win your case you gotta pay the storage still..

Thats what I told the guy that told me that. He said a lot of times the smaller shit is left to be auctioned even if they win because the fees are greater than the worth. They had high pile racking STUFFED full with weird shit... 55G drums of honey, boxes of illegal cigarettes, clothes, you name it, they had it stuffed somewhere in that building. If nobody buys it depending what it is, it gets donated for tax write off or sent to a dump to be destroyed. There was a badass 69 Camaro RIDDLED with bullet holes, they wouldn't tell the story on that, but every agency had a sticker on that car, hahaha. Must have been one hell of a raid.

My first boat I bought from a dealer on consignment. Way back in the early 80’s .
I was 19.

Just had the pump and engine done
Boats in parents garage
Mom calls me says
That the dea was sniffing around the boat in the garage .
Didn’t think much of it
Had a bill of sale . Saying it was mine
Bought it from dealer

I’m over seas
3 days later my mom calls me says tow truck attached the boat
To tow truck and just about hit everything
With the trailer getting it out .fucked up both chome fenders

had know idea , either did dealer
That this guy was moving cocaine
Boat was confiscated
Held in a impound yard For 6 months
Until my attorney wrote a threatening letter to Burbank marine
That they have to pay impound fees
Burbank marine was not happy !

That they are paying the impound fee $8300
When boat gets released

Finally
9 months go by and the boat is back in my possession

The owner of that Skater when delivered new finest person I have come across on Internet.
I delivered it from the factory to Havasu when it was new. Went to Mike Ciasulli. After Desert Storm I brought it back to the factory to adjust some things on the trailer and then Mike decided it was too big of a boat for him. (He had a 388 before) and put it for sale where it ended up in Vegas

I think folks are referring to the owner of the 368 Skater, not the 468 you delivered ;).
The owner of the 368 @Skinny Tire AH drove his Skater factory delivery to DS.
He battled issues with the 700’s until he redid the entire fuel delivery system inside his garage!
Since his overhaul of the fuel delivery system, he has had trouble free boating since.

Whats the cost/lb of fish on average?????

Yeah thats a number I never wanted to see when I owned my offshore boats over the years…
Depends on fish caught beers drank.last trip I ended up with 2 bluefin 25 or so pounds. It usually spend about 600-700 bucks on a 1.5-2 day trip on a group charter.

Last two trips ended up with two
Bluefin per trip.

Same thing Turkey 🦃 hunting in Arizona, by the time you drive to your “Spot”, pay your hunting license, and maintain all the gear, it’s just not worth it unless they’re running wild on your land.

My girlfriend was floored when some girl asked to jump in my Cadillac at a stop light when her and I were driving out to the Temecula wineries. I’ve never been able to take it for a drive by myself ever since 😂
🤣.........I knew I wasn't the only Caddi owner to have this problem. Currently own 3 generations of V series cars, hands down, no question women love these cars,

CTS V wagon is a car I've always wanted
She likes those too, but man they are expensive. I’m a manual guy, and manual wagons are approaching $100k. I would rather have a manual blackwing at that point.

My SIL has a manual one. Has a supercharger I believe. He says they didn’t make a lot of the manual ones.

This an Auto but loved it. Not mine but a close friends. Few upgrades and hauls butt! This was in TX ages ago when I helped him move out there. Should be rolling around Havasu now if he drives it at all since he moved back a few years back.

He is correct, if the miles are on the lower side that’s a 100k car right now. The charcoal with black interior is also a great spec. Badass
Crazy that’s what they are fetching now a days.

Especially when you see what a sedan sells for. There was a grey on black 2011 with 17k miles that just sold for 86k. Prices seem to be coming back down from the covid highs.

Got a 2024 Blackwing. Lots of options but automatic.

2300 miles in about 14 months... hoping it will hold it's value 👍

What is traffic like leaving the foothills to get to the ramp?
Never had a issue with traffic.

There is a new development going in on north side of Cherry Tree and the neighborhood is all rowdy about the developer being forced to create another entry/exit point. Developer was getting lazy and trying to approve a road through the first phase of the Foothills. A bunch of residents quashed that.

I’m a Cad guy thru and thru. Have owned a few.

This ordeal was with my 66’. She’s an old girl. I’ll have a newer one to add to the list soon enough.

Have to say, although it’s costing me a few bucks, my recently acquired gen 2 2012 CTS-V coupe is turning out nice with the new wheels, exhaust, tinting, CAI, etc.

Although it only has 39,000 miles on it, it had been sitting for 3 or so years unused. As a result, in addition to the fuel system issues (pump replacements, etc.), it is now in the shop with push rod problems that necessities the removal of the heads. It was misfiring a bit (at idle) and it wasn’t the coils, plugs or injectors.

If the cam turns out to be bad as well (once it’s looked at) I will probably be going with a more aggressive one along with headers. Still giving it some thought. Could end up being North of 600 HP to the wheels.

The only regret is it’s an automatic.

We drive through the foothills for the hell of it every now and then just to take a look. There are truly some bitchen homes and occasional killer toys when a garage is left open or someone is prepping out front.

That said, if you’re towing say a 13,000 lb boat/trailer rig (that is 70 feet long with a crew cab long bed) to launch at the Rivera, my guess is you’re looking at a bit more than 20 minutes.

I wonder why they didn’t take that boat but took the other stuff?? What determines what gets taken and what doesn’t?
