I also posted here a pm exchange I had with Todd969 at HotBoat last night....He denied everything I asked him.....when I asked him If he was in fact a mod at Hotboat and was the one deleting threads for some time...he wrote back his internet was breaking up and wanted to continue this by phone.....I prefer having written copy of these issues....and now HotBoat appears to be gone...:nono...Im sure he's a great guy....to you...So is the person who gave me the info I posted....as for suing me.....some have tried.....bring it.....and for the last person who tried to kick me in the junk....well ...he is unavailable for comment..:hmm...This story is far from over.....If the info I was forwarded is indeed not based in fact...I will apologise to Todd969 on the forums.....

Hi this is Todd Taylor from Jokers Wild Promotions, Black Rhino Havasu, Performance Boats Magazine and the owner of Rocco. I want to make it clear just who I am so no one confuses me as an enemy. I was kicked off of the HOT Boat Team when Darrin Davidson purchased the Magazine. I'm not the "Todd" who has put on several of the Rhino runs in the Havasu area and I still own Jokers Wild and YES We are doing the Regattas still.

I dont like someone posting a picture of him whereas it may or may not be true. I dont know why, I just dont like the feeling I get when someone is being accused and posts a picture of someone saying, "here he is." Not blaming Mr.C, just feels weird to me.

A pic of the rhino or something would have been OK to describe the person, but an actualy mug shot, who knows what anyone looks like anyways? Post a picture of my face or my boat, more people will know the boat, and very few will know my face.

For what it is worth, Todd has come through for many board memebers helping them, I just dont see it.

I went to the HB office and he was there hacking away at the site, when I confronted him about what the hell he was doing and did he have Darrin's permission..I was met with silence as he tried to turn away from me, (big mistake)
Where is Darrin I asked....no answer
so explained to this chimp who I was and how pissed I was about to get
the answer I got is he is on Vacation till after Christmas.
Fine I left
I went to Darrin's home, both cars are there, packages at the door and the outside lights are on., his 5th wheel is gone which tells me he is at his property and out of cell range till he returns....should be home this Friday.
he has two messages from me on his phone informing him of the situation this has caused and that he should make every effort to get back in touch with either his staff or me.

I suspect that some....errr MOST of this has been done without Darrin's consent or guidance....I mean come on "I am going on Vacation and while I do shut the website down without any notice" nope I am not buying this for a second till I talk to Darrin himself, nor will I believe any of the rumors flying around till I talk to Darrin directly

after all this running around, I really do suspect " the mice are at play" while the cat is away, it's just the feeling I get from the situation and the 3rd Todds reaction.

Good info Karl, however this was a major fockup, and Im doubting it was done without the big wigs knowledge. Maybe a back handed slap of approval, or something, and do it when IM gone sounds like a good idea, and not being available for a call, doubtful that anyone with his stature is out of communication for any length of time, they just came out with sat phones (about 15 years ago) that work anywhere.

I was really more into the :beer than than the defense of anyone.
I know for a fact that Todd969 has been responsible for one thread deletion on hot boat.But dont know how that thread could play into this.(just had to do with his music)So in short I guess I would say that he probably could have done it had he wanted .But I have known him for some time and dont see him as the type to lie about anything.I personally will give him the benefit of the doubt.
