"I received an email from Craig that he is giving up control of the site today to a new webmaster. He has not spoken with the guy yet but I did ask if he anticipates any forum changes and he indicated he doubted it. Mostly site design updates which are long overdue. Just passing along to you guys what I've heard because as we all know we usually don't hear much. Also Todd969 has been added as a supermoderator. I don't know what his role will be with the new hotboat owners. That took place a few weeks ago though and he has deleted some threads in the sandbar involving manufacturers (advertisers)."

Does not really matter who it is. Who ever it is did what they wanted and in turn I did what I wanted, by canceling my subscription.( made it very clear why) Hey its thier web site, run it how they want to run it. Just don't get mad when the users on that site deside they don't want to Vist that site anymore.



Granted they are breaking the Php policy( and have been for months) by not have a valid contact link. just incase anyone wanted to shoot them a email or something.

I have heard through the grapevine that there's speculation that Todd969 is involved in the bannings today. Not true. It is hotboat admin as directed by hotboat ownership. Todd is not hotboat admin.

I plan on speaking with them tomorrow regarding these events, the direction of the site and so on. Right now the mods are pretty much in the dark still with the exception of that info I posted above.

I've lost my password for RD's site so I haven't been on there. (RD if you could rectify that.... )

Same here. Tod969 is a great guy. Hung out with him many times and I really can't imagine him doing something like this.

Can't say that I disagree and I'll be relating my views on it tomorrow. As you say a directive as to what they want on the site to both membership and the moderators in advance would have been appropriate I think.

Todd is mod there and has been given the directive by ownership to delete mfg bashing threads, which he has done some of. He was not involved nor did he even know about today's bannings until he saw it. He also is working on the site itself from a design perspective (long overdue).

Instead of just immediately banning people (lots of them being their very own subscribers), why not explaining something like "A lot of you people here have been in violation of the TOS/Forum Rules...however we really haven't been doing our part to enforce them either, so starting today we're gonna start enforcing the rules a lot better than we ever have. If you are not familiar with the forum rules, I suggest you go and read them as they are posted at the top of each forum. Failure to follow the forum rules from this day forward will result in either a temporary or a permanent ban from the site."? Give us some sort of a warning beforehand...

It was stated that while we were in violation of a few rules that the rules weren't really being enforced by the staff...which is an error on the part of the staff. We fucked up...they fucked up too...give us all another chance rather than banning and deleting accounts.

Hi this is Todd Taylor from Jokers Wild Promotions, Black Rhino Havasu, Performance Boats Magazine and the owner of Rocco. I want to make it clear just who I am so no one confuses me as an enemy. I was kicked off of the HOT Boat Team when Darrin Davidson purchased the Magazine. I'm not the "Todd" who has put on several of the Rhino runs in the Havasu area and I still own Jokers Wild and YES We are doing the Regattas still.
