I bought a gallon of it a couple years ago and have only used about half of it. It's stored in my garage in Havasu so it's been in the heat. Does it go bad overtime or will it be ok?

Should be fine.. I've had 5 gallons of hotsauce for several years and still use it. (have a gallon or two left)

I will say that some of the other sauces "seperated" in the bottles and leaked through the bottles somehow. I shook some of the bottles up to see if i could get them to remix, but no dice. I just threw them away last weekend. Couldn't tell you which ones they were, but I know one of them was transom sauce.

Ok cool. I need to pick up a small bottle of the transom sauce to try. My motor is setup a little on the rich side and it leaves the transom a little nasty.

We have had an bunch and they evaporate.. some wax and transom sauce wont mix back up.
Hot sauce doesn't last long even with the bottle set to the off position and on tight.. Not really happy. Plus, I had a ton of issues with the sprayers and bottles leaking..
Good product but I 'm not really happy after spending a lot of cash on all of the Boat Bling products.

IMO

I, like Dave, have about half of a 5 gallon jug of Hot Sauce that sits in the Havasu garage about 5 feet from the garage door. Have had it for years and have no problems. I use it to refill my quart bottles which stay in the garage as well. Never had any problems with bottles leaking either.

patrick replaced my bad sprayers and it helped but the sauce still evaporated sitting in the boat all summer. they were left standing in teh cabin in the off position and screwed on tight.. Love the product just can't seem to make it last without evaporating.

Almost any cleaning product will not last several years in extreme conditions...especially products with wax in them. Most products have a 2-3 year shelf life. In some cases the temperatures exceed 130 degrees in the summer to down in the 40's in the winter in Havasu, for instance...a huge delta for these kind of products. If you want your products to last longer, keep them in less extreme conditions, if possible. Try putting them in your laundry room or under the kitchen sink inside the house where the insulation is better than in the garage.

Say what? a competitor that comes in and offers suggestions rather than just bash the other guys product in a lame attempt to make their product seem superior. Nicely played, class move all the way:thumbsup

I had two gallons in my garage for two years when I was "between" boats and it still worked when it came time to use it. No issues with evaporation.. Now, the quickie sauce is another story. It turned into a mess in the bottle and was unusable. I'm still a big Hot Sauce supporter and will continue to use it. However, I did purchase some Boat Candy recently and am looking forward to see how it works...

Amen to that....I like Hot Sauce but when I cleaned the boat this past Sunday, all 3 bottles that I was using were leaking and I thought to myself, I wonder how much of this stuff I've had spill on the ground over the years? :grumble:

Brian has kept those sauce products by the door in his garage for several years with no change in efficacy.

Not that much, unless you use for something else besides cleaning your boat. Perhaps you should just use your pressure washer at 6am to clean the boat from now on.....:party2::party2:
