We were there for a Garth concert and mini vaca. Sunday-yesterday. From our room we could see the TV, Couch that was thrown out the window and all metro and swat guys where all over the place. They evacuated the pool area just in case this nut started shooting into the crowds for about 6 hours, he finally gave up and everything opened back up. You all would be amazed at how many incidents every single hotel in Vegas has on a weekly basis that is NEVER released to the public.

I had an incident in the New York New York this past weekend.. I was taking a piss and some guy came crashing into the back of me. I’m not 100% sure if he was trying to attack me or thinking about it later maybe just so drunk he crashed into me, he was grabbing my shirt and me so I’m not sure?

anyhow I fucked my hand up pretty good when I hit the valve etc in front of me.. I kinda spun around and shoved his head into the toilet / toilet valve of the urinal then limped / staggered away as fast as I could. Hand still hurts
I’ve never really had a problem in Vegas inside a casino before.

He was just cottaging Dave...you must have given off a vibe! :) In all seriousness I spent bit of time working in LV building a pharmacy dispensing system....mainly nights so I would roll into NYNY around 4am after work...and that is one of the sketchier hotels the later it gets... I tried to stay at Vdara mainly.....no casino, no riff raff...

My dad was a finish carpenter at the Golden Nugget and then retired early and went to be an engineer at Treasure Island. Some of the stories he has told me about cleaning up rooms from murder suicides is insane. People would come to Vegas and think they're going to win it all only to lose everything.

There's a secrecy of Vegas that is covered up, this type of thing literally happens everyday. There's a reason hotel room windows don't open anymore.
