Just read about his BMX crash JW. Hope he is doing ok and feeling better today. Also hope you and Leah are doing OK. Lauren has only had one spill and it scared the crap out of me....I know it will happen sooner or later with the family ativities we do but I'm not looking forward to seeing her first big wipe out.

Wish him a speedy recovery for us.

Thanks, he is feeling OK. He'll be out of racing for at least 8 weeks, that's the remainder of the season for BMX. He won't start again until right at the beginning of next season. I'm going to buy him a trainer so he can keep working on his stamina and leg strength.

Thanks guys. He's feeling better. He went as a hospital patient last night trick or treating. Worked out pretty good.

Believe me, I thought about gel coating his cast. It would need to be a waterproof cast though, because I would need to fill it first wil some Dura Glass, then prime it, sand it, gel coat it, then sand and buff it. The mess it woud make would mean he would have to be able to wash it, inside and out. I really want to do it sometime though. I usually do color in the graphics with my pens that I draw up the boats with, but it's still not the same.

Great looking kid...Just the first of many to come.Toughest part is seeing them in pain and watching the wife go through seeing there baby hurt. When I i first met missboatnam her oldest boy had just had a bad crash in motocross, he was bed ridden for almost a year and still show signs of it 10 years later. Coming from a racing backround wasnt to hard for me to underrstand but for her it was year of hell. broken ,legs, wrists,hands shoulders,ribs, pins, stiches,concussions all followed but one thing that never waviered was his passion to ride or race now he is a young adult he still out there hitting the 150ft step ups and mom no longer has to deal with the injuries.
