So whos the go to for homeowners insurance in SoCal? Just got a letter that our carrier is no longer going to be covering California.

Who cancelled you? Do you live in a high risk area (determined by insurance co.)?

If you need high risk, Assurant is AAA’s high risk carrier. Though you don’t get credit for home insurance to get bundle discounts with AAA for cars, boats, etc.

I'm with Mercury Insurance, I have open eaves and I'm in a fire zone.

After CSE moving out of state we have Travelers on one house and Mercury on another one and both houses are in fire zones also . Been a crazy year with the insurance companies leaving Ca . Had to switch motorcycles , motorhome and trailers to different carriers too .

I just switch from Farmers/Foremost to AAA on home and auto. Home was a few hundred savings, auto was a few thousand savings.

Allstate sent me a Notice of Non Renewal after 45 years with them. I called AAA and they wrong me a homeowners policy for $2400 a year

I just switched from Farmers to AAA. Farmers renewal was a 61% increase and AAA was similar to what I paid last year with more coverage so the decision wasn’t hard.

We had CSE when we lost our home due to a wildfire in '07. They were amazing to work with compared with the struggles my neighbors suffered with various other companies. Even their CEO flew out and met us at the house and we became the marketing poster child showing how much they care.
Well they did continue to "Care" until about three years ago when we got dumped.
Fingers crossed that State Farm won't drop us, but we passed their inspection this year with zero concerns, so hopefully that will appease them.
The new bill we recently received was an Ass-Rape surprise though.

I went online and started looking . I hit one site and after I entered my info it said no ins in Ca . I was immediately put in touch with a live English speaking person who did the research and got me insurance not much more than original . I think it was Liberty Biberty
