I feel like I’d have trouble giving it awayLooks like 500 bucks to me?
I feel like I’d have trouble giving it away
Years ago, I just took my shit to a pawn shop as I didn't want to deal with CL zombies. Got a few bucks to offset the cost of the upgrade and called it a day.thats the problem w/ modern audio equipment, unless you're talking about some SERIOUS gear, it really all ages like milk.
I'd prob put it up on CL for $500, expect to get $200 low balls.
Best thing would be to give it to some younger friend or family member whos just getting started out on their own. They'll appreciate it
I had the 10inch sub. I’m surprised you consider that small for a home unit. It pumps pretty damn good.I'm always on the hunt for old Onkyo stuff and stereo equipment in general...like from the 80's. In turn, I see a lot of newer stuff for sale.
Despite their name, the speakers are small, sub is small, I would list for $350 and hope to see $200-$250.
I have Onkyo home theater amps with more power and I can probably fetch $60-$80 for them. The market is flooded with Onkyo home theater gear.
Good luck with it
Looks like $500 is the number….whos coming to get this stuff!?!?
We can't all be ballers like you. With that said I'll be over being poorto be honest ever since I went Sonos I haven't looked back
I think we’ve grown past our systems being part of the furniture. Also obviously the quality has improved greatly in smaller packages. No need for what the past was.Seems like everybody just gets the standard soundbar and weak ass sub anyMore.. lol. I do miss my big home theatre speakers but I’ll admit the soundbar sub thing is easy as shit to setup install etc and it doesn’t take half your living room

Haven’t you got the memo to be poor on RW?We can't all be ballers like you. With that said I'll be over being poor
I'm a middle aged overweight guy that wears hearing aids...old school shit is cool but heavy and now I can't hear the difference anywaySeems like everybody just gets the standard soundbar and weak ass sub anyMore.. lol. Is the receiver model TX-NR656? Trying to read the number on front in your picture.
If so, it appears to have Bluetooth, AirPlay, WiFi, Ethernet, Chromecast? Has quite a few features, including phono input. That would certainly be perfect for a garage, young person at college, etc.

I have a 7.1 system with a Yamaha receiver and Klipsch speakers. Sound quality is very good, much better than a sound bar. Definitely a Klipsch fan.
Im going the opposite direction - looking for a vintage console system with record player built in, to go behind a couch I have in my livingroom / music room! Looking for something in good shape. I plan to tap in to the signal and send it thru my distributed home audio and aeras where I have Sonos. But primarily - I wanna listed to vintage stuff on vintage gear, by the fireplace, with a bitchin glass of whiskeyI think we’ve grown past our systems being part of the furniture. Now if I had a 10,000 sq ft house with a a theatre room I’d re think that.
This. 100%I feel like I’d have trouble giving it away

This probably doesn't sound all that great, but I dig the style -

Might even go for a record player end-table deal like this!

I have an Onkyo 7.1 reciever and all Klipsch speakers and surround and Sub at home . Sounds great . But for our cabin I decided to go with the Klipsch Cinema 1200 Soundbar and suround with wireless Sub . The sound bar and wireless surrounds both have front firing and Dolby Atmos up firing . Sounds awesome . I have only owned Klipsch speakers for the last 30+ years .Soundbar quality is junk.. but they are easy
sadly not worth too much. I had some similar stuff sitting in my garage for several years. I would look to "donate" it to a young person starting out in life. As they say pass-it-on.View attachment 1307601 View attachment 1307602 Need help with pricing for this stuff. Great condition, very little use. Will be for sale soon. In havasu.

Cinema 1200 Sound Bar 5.1.4 System Dolby Atmos® Surround Sound
The Klipsch Cinema 1200 Dolby Atmos Sound Bar is a 5.1.4 system that brings sound to fill your home theater with clarity, detail, & depth. Shop Klipsch…www.klipsch.com
Sure its not your speakers??I have owned a lot of Klipsch, Polk audio, Boston acoustics.. granted none of it was there absolutel top of the line stuff but their mid grade.. great equipment.
Little unknown fact the rdp office has a large receiver and klipsch speakers throughout for party nights.. lol. One night this summer got a little out of control and we must have damaged the receiver because it doesn’t go as loud as it used too anymore before distorting.. will be fixed shortly.
I had some very nice DCM speakers that I was barely able to give them away, literally!
Those would make a great garage system.
