Let's just say that I drank more beers then I did have kids come to my door.:D

Havasu closes down McCulloch and sets up a big Halloween event, so most all the trick or treating goes on down there.

We had more kids tonight than we've had all the prior years combined. Our street is real dark so I think it keeps them away. For some reason this year we got bombarded.

Well over 100 if not closer to 200. We go to my parents house in LaHabra Heights just off of Arbolita st. Let's just say they spent a little more than a 100 bucks at costco on bags of candy and we brought an extra 3 bags from costco and when we left at 8:30ish they were almost completely out. It's a huge event over there and the lines start as soon as it gets dark.

I would guess around 350 plus maybe 400. I went through a 300 count bag of candy plus 4 bags of candy bars a bag of jolly ranchers maybe even more than 400..... Our street always looks like a street fair on Halloween

We had 7. We used to get a few hundred back in the day. living in a rural neighborhood kids would trick or treat on quads, ride on hay wagons etc.....they built a housing tract to the north of us and it ended. The kids get more bang for the buck up there.

Same Here! Same #s On Candy. I Live In A Rural Area And This Is The Only Development. Kids Are Trucked In From All Surrounding Areas. Gets Old Quick The Amount Of Kids Is Overwhelming.

We got less than 10 as well. Just sat out front with the neighbors having cocktails waiting. A couple of small groups than nothing.

I guesstimate we had almost 300 kids. They come in from other neighborhoods, ones that you would not want to trick or treat in. 75% of the kids dont have costumes, just a big bag. Grandma, mom and kids ALL GRAB candy. Dad, if there is one, usually creeps along in the car.

We went through 3 super sized costco bags. Towards the end of the night when we had maybe 30-40 pieces left I ran inside (we sit out by the curb)for les than 5 minutes. Came back everything was gone.

We're here visiting my brother in law and his family is Stevenson Ranch, I bet they had. 500-600. It's crazy around here with kids. At home in Vegas, we usually get 4.

We usually have a bunch. To the point where it's traditional to set up my firepit in the driveway, table with pumpkin carvings, candy etc. This year I notice quite a bit bit less. I think the local churches have pretty much taken over with all of the "Harvest Festival" stuff. I do get a lot more older trick or treaters like the one I had last night dressed up a stripper/porn star, carrying a small child. Interesting...

About 30 to 40 this year. Moved into a quieter neighborhood in the same city about 6 months ago.

Last year we gave out over 600 pieces of candy, one at a time. Little different this year but kinda nice.

Our neighborhood is really active.....

Lots of decorations and we usually bbq at one persons house and all sit there and eat/drink and pass out candy. We all put signs up that say come to this house and the kid walks around a circle and gets loaded up.

Lots of transports and older kids so I keep two bins one with good candy for the polite kids and one with crappy stuff for the punks.

We set up in our garage and had over 100 kids. There were cars driving in from other neighborhoods. The streets were packed. At one point there were 4 teenage (14 or 15 yo) boys running down our street wearing nothing but Speedo's......

Oh yeah, we watched the Chargers fall apart while we gave out candy too. :grumble:

there was a pretty good turn out in our hood. we all cruised over to the neighbors and drank beers while sitting around the fire handing out candy. all the kids that came by were very good and said thank you.

all i can say is that the kids scored on candy when they cruised down our street.

We had less than 20 kids show up at our house. Probably 6 groups with 2-5 kids in each group, but that was more than last year.

We've had years where there were next to 0, but this years was pretty good, probably 50 groups.

And less vans filled with 23 year old teenagers from other cities...I think our dual candy system is finally paying off. Locals get full candybars, imports get smartees:skull

Next year I'm doing the firepit deal.

I noticed a lot more kids were bused in this year. Even saw several kids with multiple bags in their hands. We only took the kids from our house to 250th and back.

1000 at the minimum. I went through $300 in two hours, giving 1 candy out per child. Ran out at 7pm:smackbum: and kids and grown-ups were still out at 9pm when I closed up.

We had 420 that we counted so maybe another 50 more after I took over the duties when the 5 yr old was done and 9 month pregnant mom was finished. I was busy drinking and not counting. Not bad for a subdivision of under 150 homes and a town of under 4k. Our sub-division is always the main place everyone hits, its like a big party. :drnkfr
