Monte Vista HS in Whittier, CA (now the LA County Sheriff Training Academy). !972. I think Alan (Boatcop) and I were on the Hawthorne Swim Club at the same time. I'm a year older (unless Alan got setback a grade) and think we were both on the swim club in the mid 60's.

The family name is Miyamura. My Uncle Hershey and Aunt Terry, my cousins Jerry and Patty Herrera still live there. There are also alot of my mom's cousins living there but I can't remember their names. I was in town a couple months ago for my cousin Nancy Ortiz' funeral. It snowed while we were there. What is your name?

I had a couple brother that went there for a while. My brother John graduated from Monte Vista in '67. My brother Greg went there in '67 before we moved to Buena Park.

I moved from BP in 1969.

No actually I went to St. Pius V for 6-8 grades. I would have went to Calder. I think it's called Buena Park Jr high now. I had a few friends that went there though.

Pius X would not accepte me and my parents would not send me to Paramount.( they said it was too rough. Gangs and all those drugs) Little did they kown. Grew up So. Downey near Downey Ave and Gardendale we were in the Paramount school district. It was a great time living on the edge of "Dog Patch P.V.13" late 60's early 70's. Low Riders, Racers and Surfers. Tweedy Blvd, Whittier Blvd, Bellflower Blvd, Gage Ave behind the Firestone Plant were great places for the street races and crusing for P-Tang. "GOOD TIMES" :beer
