I picked up a hill 23p 5 blade. It rocks. 28 eagle is up and on plane in no time. Mid range is way good. Haven't had much time to test the top end as of yet.

I want to know if this prop will work for me. I normally run a 23 rev4 or a 24 bravo1. With this said I need a little more. 26 bravo1 is too much.

You need a little more what? Pitch? Out of the hole punch? Need more specific detail.

What RPM are you currently running at WOT with the Rev 4 23" and the Bravo 1 24" prop?

What is your drive ratio?

What motor and what is the recommended WOT rpm range?

With that data I can make an educated suggestion.

One thing I have seen with the High 5 is that because of the smaller diameter it will tend to rev as high as an equivalent pitch 3 blade but comes out of the hole MUCH better. It does tend to slip more at cruise though because of the aforementioned diameter and small blade (ear) size.

Have no clue on gear ratio

496mag (not HO) 4800rmp

Rev4 wot on the limiter just over 3/4 throttle.
Bravo1 wot 7/8 throttle.
Would like a little more cruising speed.
I love the rev4 over the bravo

I picked up a hill 5 blade 23p. It's bad ass for cruising speed and out of the hole. I haven't done much testing on the top end yet but so far all other areas are way better then the bravo 24 I have.

Good. I don't like the bravo at all. Both the bravo 24 and 26 blow out when turning

The bravos haven't work well for me. I have a 26 that should be labbed but truthfully I don't want to run a labbed prob. I want something stock that runs hard. Thinking of trying a rev 4 23 just to see how it works.

Go to BBlades website and get their testing document. Test your current setup at every documented RMP and document weight in boat (gas, load, etc).
Once those base numbers are established then we can start helping.

Ok with this information you would NOT want a 23" pitch High 5. I'd suggest a 25" pitch Rev 4.

That is what I'm thinking. I have just heard people with 5 blade props and they love them.

Go down 1 pitch from the bravo 1 that works best. If you get the rpm out of a 26 bravo then I would get a 25. If a 24 bravo is the one then get a 23p.

I think you would love the prop but it wouldn't do what you want it to do. It would be great out of the hole, but have high slip in the mid range (specific to the High 5) and you'd likely be on the limiter again.

It doesn't work that way. The Bravo 1 are in 2" pitch increments.
