Anacapa island. Ranger station for the islands. They can and do live in there. That islands my go to plan when the zombies attack. Steal, I mean borrow, one of the yachts in the harbor and motor out. Tie up at that mooring. There’s pigs and other food source in the island. And there’s that building. Perfect set up for the end of the world.

I had to go up and inspect/service that lighthouse circa 1987. It was a tedious hike back then, when I was in my 30s. These days, I can't imagine me even getting up the stairs, much less all the way out to the light.

If headed to Anacapa Island - I’d suggest you get to the Rudder Room, near Tanks place, and go no further.

I’ve seen them actually hauling up huge pallets of supplies from ships with that boom. It’s a trip.
