Looks like the sale of my Caliber 1 Mod-Vp is a done deal so I need to get looking for a replacement hot rod asap.

I want a Eliminator Daytona 21 outboard, old or new deck style is fine. I am pretty sure I have found any and all of them for sale nationally at this point but if anyone knows of any that may be for sale now or in the future please let me know. Any condition is fine, and with or without power is fine as well.

Thanks, Walt

There was a rough one with an old 200 black max that was for sale in Black Canyon City, Az.
A friend of mine may still have the sellers contact info. I think he was down to $5,000 but it pretty much needed everything re-done.
Single axle trailer.
I'll let you know what I'm able to find out.

Yes I would hurt myself with that one, or more likely my wife would hurt me if I dropped that much coin on a second boat

That's the only boat you would need. That boat has me thinking a trade may be in order. 21 with twin wackers is where it's at!

Walt......just buy the twin 260 DCB that Maxxed Out has and be done.....[emoji12]

You also may want to call Dustin at Menace Marine.....he has a twin outboard 22 Daytona that he may be willing to part with.

Beautiful boat. Is it really $95k for a new Daytona like this?

North of 6 figures, I just had one spec'd out. Not that it wouldn't be worth it but it seems like depreciation on smaller boats is outrageous compared to not as bad on larger boats, so the deals are just to hard to pass up on used.

I agree 100% I picked up my 2001 stoker for a fraction of what it cost new. There are minor imperfections on the exterior, but the interior is perfect and the motor is fresh. The deal was too good for me to pass up.

If I had 6 figures to spend on a brand new one from eliminator, I would do it in a heartbeat! I love the smaller boats for where we go on the lower river.

How fast will a 21 with twin wackers run?

I might start boat shopping next month and the 21 Daytona is one of the boats on my list.

Trying to decide if I want a lake rocket or something more family friendly. My kids are 7 and 3 so I'm thinking I should get the Lake rocket now and add a wakeboard boat to the fleet later on.

A 21'er with 280's probably a 115 mph boat, personally I wouldn't go twins unless its 24' or longer. Two whackers on a 21 will have a lot of bow attitude idling.

The one maxed out has is at 117. I've been in dcb 22 with 280s, the acceleration from just cruising along on plane at 30 mph up to 100 is something to be experienced. It's brutal.

I've been in another one they have advertised, a 22 DCB with twin Drags and I was a passenger at 125. When he put small props on it he could beat the small drag boats in Speed Alley.....And that's saying a lot :thumbsup

So what kind of speeds should be expected with a single 300?

The boat will spend most of its time running at 5000' elevation.

A 21 with an honest 300hp should about 80-85 at that altitude, set up correctly.

Maxed out marine should hire pokey , then he could live in havasu and enjoy life and out of that damn California.

I will say this. When I purchase my next boat. Ol pokey is the first guy I will hit up. [emoji106]

He definitely knows his stuff.... Seems like he would be a great boat salesman.

Pokey you should move out there and go to work for Nordic....I imagine they could use a qualified and responsible employee [emoji41][emoji106][emoji631]

I have a Cougar 22MTR with a 2015 Merc 300xs.

It's larger than a 21 Daytona . Longer, wider, more freeboard, deeper tunnels, and a flat floor. Pretty spacious interior.

Called, bizarre dude, "I don't really want to sell it", got a bad vibe. Why list of for sale if your not wanting to sell it?

I'm sure his wife would be able to answer your question...it would be yours if only she had answered the phone.

You know the owner? I would like to see it if he is serious about selling it.

I don't.
But whenever you see toys for sale that the owner is reluctant to part with, there's usually a significant other forcing the issue.

Nobody really wants to sell their boat. He didn't even need to say that.
He was probably thinking out loud while his wife was staring at him on the phone. :D
