Ok, so now we've seen the pics, how about some details ?

Has the engine been out of the boat ? It appears to have aftermarket exhaust manifolds and valve covers. Carb appears to be the factory quadrajet though. Any plans to through some go fast parts at it ?

Congrats! You going to change your screen name to HallettCarl?

No, I've been through MANY boats that are other than Campbell branded. My heart will always love the look and history of the West Coast Day-Cruiser. This one just happens to be a little more updated and I bought it right.

What trailer manufacturer? Title says 'Randa' maybe Randall? Don't think that I've heard of them. Anybody?

Google search reveals Randall's VIP Trailers, Chandler AZ. Interesting...CA boat with an AZ trailer.

Cogan's worked well for us so I started looking around for a 210. I hope the 210 doesn't do anything to my intestinal process like it does to John's............:D

Altho....I just looked under the bow and there's plenty of room for a porta-shitter....

Very nice. I called on it and the deal was amazing. I need an open bow but was going to buy it because of the great deal and how easy it would have been to flip it for an easy 5k profit. I hope you enjoy it. Awesome boat

Nice pick up Carl...enjoy, looking forward to seeing it on the water on the strip!

Maybe that isn't the original trailer?

Both show as 1993's so who knows.....nice boxed trailer tho.

I'll see if it can find the flag on the strip some weekend this summer.

Probably right, I think Hallett was using competitive trailers in the 90's...

Nice ride there Carl. I bet that you are looking forward to keeping the RED shiny out here in the desert. I love red but what a tough color to keep from oxidizing.

It's a runner! Drug it out to Needles Marina where the V-Drive vacation week was ending but had a shot at the weekend. No choke so she's a little cold blooded coming off of the trailer but warmed up nicely.

3 of us cruised down to Topcock (Johnny Idaho's name for Chet's place) on Friday through the white caps and wind. Then into Pirates to watch the Friday shit-show and back up to Needles.

Runs like a champ! Trim guage is off (so I just trimmed it by the seat of the pants kinda feel) and the steering is a little less power steering than I think it should be. Gotta look into that.

Sat in the Needles Marina moorage docks overnight Friday and Saturday with no leaks.....YEAH!

:thumbsup :thumbsup

Don't need a choke when it's 100 degrees outside... Jet up the primaries a tad, and your good to go :)

Glad to hear it ran well Carl.
