Thank you for all the kind words. I really like the boat. There are some cosmetic things I want to get done, but overall the boat looks good.

The shakedown run went great. The drive oil /fluid was a little low and the alarm was sounding. NorCalLmo (The Seller), had pulled the drive off to have the u-joints replaced and make sure it was properly lubed and aligned. :thumbsup Grads offered to bring some fluid to the ramp. I topped it off and the problem was fixed. We ran about 12 miles and boat ran great.

Now for the Bummer...It will be 3 weeks before I will have time to take it out again. :yikes

I bought the 22' Velocity with a 454 / Bravo 1 from NorCalLmo that was for sale on RDP ( http://www.riverdavesplace.com/forums/showthread.php?145796-22-Velocity-for-sale&p=2345466#post2345466 ). I don't really have any pics because it was raining when I got home and I wanted to get it covered. I will say that NorCalLmo was fantastic to deal with. I couldn't get my storage unit until tomorrow, so she has to sit in the driveway tonight. LOL.

I will try to take some pics tomorrow...and hopefully take it out for a shakedown run. More to come...

Yes it would be great to meet you someday...I will make sure to introduce myself. [emoji1]

No that is not me in the boat. It is NorCalLmo. It does look like me though. LOL.

Grads didn't come out on the Shakedown run. Another buddy came out. His screen name on RDP is IAmN2Speed, but he never comes on the forums.

Very happy for you RT99!

Beautiful boat.
You need to bring it up to our lake this summer, we'd be happy to show you around. It will be July before any of the good beaches are dry, let me know...

The water level is great. Launching off the top ramp at Granite Bay.

I took the boat out twice last week. On Monday and again on Sunday (met up with Grads and some other peeps). The boat ran great and I am very happy with the purchase.

Like Yellowboat said, it stands for "Look At Me". I can't remember how the phrase Hey LAM got started around here.

2ff thread titles...

when he bought something it started out with "look at me"

I am too lazy to type it out, so let me know when you find out. :p :D

I don't know yet. I have only been 63 mph at 4800 rpm with 3 adults and a full tank of fuel. (but 63 is just a little faster than 58 mph, if you know what I mean. LOL. )

I think / hope it will do 70 mph in perfect conditions. I need to try some different props. It is has a small pad and a notched transom (called a Stepp Hull for Steve Stepp). It is supposed to be a very efficient hull.

I have been having a great time with the boat. I haven't gotten to take it out as much as I would like due to kids sports, but I think that will change this Summer. Here are a couple of pics.

Last pic looks like Lake Clementine above Auburn. Rollins Lake & Bullards Bar look like that too.
