HEY LAM!!! Bought A New To Me Boat!!

I bought the 22' Velocity with a 454 / Bravo 1 from NorCalLmo that was for sale on RDP ( http://www.riverdavesplace.com/forums/showthread.php?145796-22-Velocity-for-sale&p=2345466#post2345466 ). I don't really have any pics because it was raining when I got home and I wanted to get it covered. I will say that NorCalLmo was fantastic to deal with. I couldn't get my storage unit until tomorrow, so she has to sit in the driveway tonight. LOL.

I will try to take some pics tomorrow...and hopefully take it out for a shakedown run. More to come...

I don't have any plans at this time, but who knows. I am going to run it the way it is for now. I will see how it works out this summer.

It is a good platform to start with. The Stepp Bottom (Steve Stepp) is supposed to be a very efficient hull. The 30' version of this boat was the first offshore v-hull to break 100 mph.

I may have to move my boat into storage, I have to move into a different house next month and I don't think the boat will fit.

The Canoe will STAY!!!

Ultimately, it will go into one of those warehouse indoor storage places. I am putting it in an self storage unit for a month or two, so I can go work on it when I want. I have room to make RV access at the house, but don't know if I want to store it outside.

Spaces are by the foot.

Didn't like the guys attitude when I called them.

I have I foldable to tongue on my trailer and he said they don't do foldable tongues. I'm like dude really? all you do is pull the pin and fold it.
My boat is 21 foot with the tongue collapsed and he wants to put me in a 30 foot spot.

Also he says they need 24 hr. notice to get your boat ready (out). What if you decide on Sunday morning you want to take your boat out? then what you can't get your boat?

I told the guy Goodbye. Sounds like a racket to me, I have to think about.
I may not have a choice but to pay for storage. :grumble:
