didn't drive it yet....it has the upgraded 5.7 volvo set up...single prop...

I sold it when we decided to sell the havasu house and we took the havasu boat to vegas, ended up with 2 boats at vegas…. when the new house in havasu got finished, we decided to keep it...ended up boatless in vegas….the plan is to go one weekend to mead, and the next to havasu.. so I needed a small deck boat... I wasn't to impressed with the way the chaperal road and handled... and it was monster big for a small boat...I liked the look of the glastron...the small block should push it past 50 mph,.. so faster than most pontoons... but really just want a cruise boat that can haul 8 people...and anyone can drive... the boat is in real nice condition... but didn't drive it yet so more to come...

I looked at nada before I bought the boat, I know NADA doesn't have a boat sales lot,. and none of there prices ever make sense...
but,.. everyone always goes there so I went also...
the trailer had 2 brand new tires from big O, but badly needed the other two..discount tire only had 2, but I had to pay for 4 because I don't get my vegas pricing in havasu, they pretty much seen I had to have them and priced accordingly... gonna get two more here in vegas as the tires I got are the goodyears with a higher load rating and run 65 psi instead of 50 psi, and I've had real good luck with them sofar...the only other damage was the sterio didn't work, it has 2 big amps and subwoofer... I found the 80amp fuse to be corroded, pulled it out and wire brushed it and all works now.... the other thing is the rub rail is coming loose as it is just screwed into the side and not through bolted like cheetah does... other than that, interior is like new, trailer has shinny paint and chrome wheels...pulled with ease behind my new ram hemi pick up, so that will be nice as it is 45 miles from my vegas house to mead... gonna be a fun boat if it water tests as it should..

I don't know if any of you are ,or have been boat shopping, but...prices are all over the board,... condition grossly over advertised..pristine, like new, low hours seem to mean nothing but a way to get you to waist your time going to look...kinda weird that you have to travel out of your home town to look at a boat,... even a common every day little cheep boat... and what gets you on the road is how bad they describe "like new!!!"

Only going to get worse unfortunately same goes for cars, trucks and all other toys. I've had sellers get pissed when I told them their POS isn't even close to what was advertised and they wasted my time. Seller's seem to think it's owed to them and shame on me for not buying their overpriced not as advertised shit box

We all know that. But the process is entertaining. Way to spoil the ending...

The story is always a bit different but the ending is the same. :). It’s good Steve didn’t write screenplays for a living.

The A team would have sold their van. Doc would have sold the DeLorean. Titanic would have been sold before its maiden voyage.

Pissed me off as well, if it is in great condition say so and be clear about it on the phone prior to making someone drive sometimes a long distance and spending a lot of their free time to end up being wasted if it is junk or not even close to what was advertised. I for one believe in disclosing every single detail that I am aware of when selling anything, I have sold many of my toys from cars, to boats to golf carts anything....90% of the time first person that sees what I am selling buys it...

I highly doubt Steve is in the business of loosing $$$ tho. He gets to play with the toys he likes, change em up then moves on to the next baddest MOFO. I wanna be Steve when I retire

Hahaha, I sold that exact same boat last year in blue and white. Rode like a Caddy, but struggled a little getting on plane up here at 4000 feet. Other than that it seemed like a decent boat. Not much of a looker though.

That last one would have worked out better for White Star. They should have hired Steve.

I have money left... what is it...

It's a 23' Glastron Scimitar. I was just joking around but those who are Glastron lovers would give their half nuts for a nice restored one. Roger Moore had Moonraker in the 007 movie. Cool boats with a T-top.

That was one great boat. We used that at Mead and had the best times going through the narrows and hanging out all day, rough water was it's best friend...we were amazed the first time we hit some big rollers and chop...also used it tons of times from Moabi down to Havi and nothing that we ever encountered rattled that beast. I have looked for one ever since I sold mine...hard to come by that is for sure. The only thing I would want different is a big block vs the small block..just for a few more mph's. There is one at boulder boats in Henderson but it has way too many hours on it for me and it is a 4.3 alpha, I want a Bravo lll pulled that sucker onto plane faster than I ever expected.
