I watch Roafkill religiously. Follow y’all on YouTube.

How did you and Frieberger hookup and what started y’all’s relationship? How did Roadkill get started?

Thanks for all the content and info. You guys are the ultimate duo. Need more boat content on Roadkill. Even though I think Frieberger is scared of the water.

Thanks for all the time you spend sharing your life with us.

Love your jet bote!

Absolute bizarre coincidence that I just found these right now..

when I was in my early 20's I had broken my arm, and Mike F needed to quickly mount some parts on his rogers.. So he brought it down to my shop and we made a couple brackets for it real quick. I kinda stood behind him and told him what to do on my mill so he made most of this stuff. I believe it was his first time ever running a mill? (Don't quote me on that).. Now he has his own mill and is kicking ass on fab work and everything else.

Don't judge I didn't have any L aluminum so we just kinda made do with what we had for the day and got it all done.

Follow Mikes Youtube Channel. Plenty of boating fun in there!

And also the Thsirts he sells Rocks! They have a great fit and are thin and comfy, not that thick Liquor store type Tshirt crap!

I've always loved the content Freigberger puts out. Been reading him since his days at 4WOR magazine. Followed him over to CC.

Finnegan doesn't do to bad either. :D

thanks! I met Freiburger at Steve Brule (of Westech Performance Group) 50th bday party. Later on, Freiburger hired me to work at Hot Rod Mag. Roadkill was a complete accident. We were both staff editors at Hot Rod who took a couple of road trips together after work. Jason Lewis and Clint Stringfellow worked for the company and tagged along to film the trips. When we got back they edited the footage into videos that were uploaded to Hot Rod's YouTube channel. At the time, it wasn't Roadkill. We weren't making a tv show and didnt even have a name for what we were doing. Somebody at Source Interlink, the company that owned Hot Rod at the time, saw the videos and asked us to keep making them. We stole the name Roadkill from a new magazine we were working on that hadn't been launched yet. For the next two years we continued working full time at Hot Rod while making Roadkill on the weekends. It was a nutty life. Eventually we had to quit working at Hot Rod because we just didn't have time to write anymore. 9 years later we are still making Roadkill. Its been a wild trip!

-you actually taught me to machine. I'd never even seen a Bridgeport when we made those brackets for my Rogers. I still have a couple of pieces of that boat hiding in my garage. The boat was sold a couple of times to good friends and it's still terrorizing Big River.

I think it had the single carb 502 BBC in it back when you went for that ride. It was a fun boat. Road like shit but fun to drive fast in. lol
So side note. Just watched the Super Jet Video.

How bad do I need the new one?

I'm either gonna mod my 2020 or dump it and get a 2021. it's that good. Riva Racing has an ecu flash and airbox mod for the 2021 that supposedly pumps it from 100 to 125hp....
That settles it then! Hahaha

I just built 2 kawi 650sx for the kids...been more fun than the boat...grins ear to ear. Kids are sick of me stealing their ski so I need one. If you part with SJ let me know...I’m at Lake Norman, NC...I can pick it up.

Don't ever dump that 2020 SJ. I have a stock 2011 SJ and that ski is so damn fun to ride. That being said, I put a deposit down on the 2021 SJ4/TR1 10 days ago [emoji41]
