I drove to Loma Linda with an appendix about to burst to stay out of that place, good luck.

Honestly, the ER here took good care of me, got me admitted before wife could even finish paperwork. Not a single employee was frowning. Candystriper lady came around a few times to make sure my wife had drink and snacks. Each nurse I dealt with was very personable...from check in, bed nurse, ct nurses and even paying when we left.
Fentanyl is some wicked good shit....nurse told me before injecting I'd either hate her or love her.....lol

Drink more water. I try to drink a gallon a day, keeps the stones away.
I ended up having to have surgery to remove a kidney stone back in 2012 and the doctor fixed a ‘J’ shaped kink in tube that allowed small stone to get trapped and become big. surgery sucked, but since surgery no stones

This was my 3rd in 16 years but first on my left side.

I was in ER with a kidney stone almost annually from 2000 through 2011.
Last one I had was during a Havasu trip and that one made me go to dr and start figuring out WTF is going on. Took 6 months to figure out it was part diet, but then surgery to remove a 8mm stone in 2012 finally found the problem. Normal to have 1 or 2mm stones, but this J hook issue was allowing them to get trapped and grow to 6-8mm and those would knock me out and into the ER once released and they started to move.
